Pete has such good natural feel. Instead of playing exactly on the beat he maneuvers/floats and gets his hooks in and blends in speed. I was just watching the Rock Show concerts he fills in and it's like "wow, that's a real player!" Respect...
Dude!! Not only was this another top 3 intro song, I feel like I am watching the Pete Thorn who started this channel years ago! The long hair is back FOR THE WIN!!
I love this man. And I have to give kudos to Pete for having a very visible disclaimer. Compared to other youtube channels, it is refreshing to see honesty.
Awesome Pete I still have the plexitone original on my board. This one has some nice features and it does sound great. Great Demo. We should all have one. Sweetwater here I come
an avalanche of red guitars sounding so snarl-snarlilest with a sunburst cherry on top. sounds raw and edgy in the best possible way, well played . nice demo sir as usual.
I think I really like red guitars ha ha it wasn’t like my intention to get a whole bunch of them but I do have a lot of red guitars now. I should probably start mixing it up as far as the colors go 😂
What is yourLEAST FAVORITE guitar color. Probably depends on the which guitar and model and vintage and the companies ‘ version of the colors, right? My only caveat is I hate black guitars and usuallylove pastels.
I got the original Plexittone due to watching Pete's video. Great pedal. This one reminds of the original Plexitone but with the feature set of Drybell's The Engine. Great demo of the video from one of the greats. Always to enjoyable to watch. Thanks Pete for coming with great guitar parts every time.
Another fabulous demo; as always, we get to see the gear put through the paces in the opening and then a thorough job of the various tones available. I'm not sure there's anyone that produces more complete demos, thanks Pete.
I thought I had heard all there was to offer in MIB pedals. This one sounds insanely good and so does Pete's incredible playing. Good Lord, do I need another dirt pedal? Leaning yes....
What a great opening track, definitely caffeine inspired! Cool pedal, love how builders are starting to realize the value of a treble boost added to plexi-style pedals.
Seriously, how can anyone that plays guitar, listens to guitar, or just likes Pete's playing give a thumbs down? What exactly more are you expecting from Pete's top notch videos?? I literally cannot imagine better videos for this subject. I am perplexed.
Great intro demo song, listenable on its own without even using it to evaluate the pedal. That's a clever pedal-holder you came up with there, by the way.
Great sounding pedal and awesome demo. Pete really is one of the top guitarists out there. Kind of like Page & Brian May had a child with Eddie & Jeff Beck, but Gilmour was the step-father. Excellent playing every time!
coincidence, I have been looking to purchase one of the Marshall Guv'nor pedal, to try to get a bit of EL34 tone into my 6L6 Lonestar Mesa Boogie. Sounds like I am going to have to check that Plexiranger carefully.
Holy Moses.... Talk about riffage... That song was a load of serious whoop ass!!! Awesome job Pete and put it in the archives for PT3. Pedal sounds amazing
Hey! New to the channel here!! Loved the classic/progressive rock/metal tones you got from this thing. Sounds like this pedal could be used for hardcore/death metal genres too from what I could tell from the layout and how you used it. Would love to hear some extended range instruments from you (7-9 string or baritone guitars) as I can tell you are a very adaptable and experienced musician. You are a legend! Looking foreward to seeing more videos from you
I’d love to see a video of your process for these videos. Do you have these song ideas already in the works, or does each pedal inspire these songs on the spot? Super creative/inspiring as always!
Anyone can see Pete LOVES this Pedal...and no wonder! Carl Martin always does such great work!
Pete is a tone master. That breakdown of parts and choice of tone layers is world-class. Great work.
You really need to put out a new album with all these great songs in your demos!
Dude! That was a SICK song man. Great demo!
Thanks!
I ...........was gonna say the exact same thing man...
Top 3 Product demo guys. I wish he could publish these.
Pete has such good natural feel. Instead of playing exactly on the beat he maneuvers/floats and gets his hooks in and blends in speed. I was just watching the Rock Show concerts he fills in and it's like "wow, that's a real player!" Respect...
Thank u!
The best Marshall in a pedal I've ever heard! You certainly do it justice, Pete! Rippin' tune!
Dude!! Not only was this another top 3 intro song, I feel like I am watching the Pete Thorn who started this channel years ago! The long hair is back FOR THE WIN!!
Dang that rocked!! That solo just kept getting more and more intense! Thanks @Pete Thorn
Excellent. Pete's playing is just so easy to listen to.
Thanks Anthony!
I have just got one for Christmas, and am very happy with it...it's a killer pedal, very high quality, in construction and TONE.
Thanks glad you dig it :-)
@@Pedalmakers hey guys whilst were talking- here is one of my albums to Crank up :-)- ruclips.net/p/OLAK5uy_m35_UvsXdmqir9_He6wZ2gqIr5Qkqxfas
Holy moly, every random Pete Thorn video I click on has a tune catchier than the last. How does he do it?!
Holy crap does that sound killer...because of Pete's original plexitone vid I put 1 on my board and it has never left!...
You play so many great riffs with so many different 'feels'....your tone and playing really resonate for me
I love this man.
And I have to give kudos to Pete for having a very visible disclaimer.

Awesome Pete I still have the plexitone original on my board. This one has some nice features and it does sound great. Great Demo. We should all have one. Sweetwater here I come
I love the sounds you got with the SG and that pedal.
Pete , that tune is the most modern , complicated , well executed , inspirational display of Guitar Magic I've ever heard. 🎸🎸🎸
The SG sounded amazing going through it. Awesome 👏
WOW!!! Greet tune once again, Pete! Killin' it!
That was awesome! Great dynamics in the track. Plexi-style pedals are always welcome.
I love how crunchy it is!
Great demo, Pete!

At 1:19 - Exemplar of Pete just loving to play guitar. He's digging it so much he almost falls of his chair!
When Pete can make better tones on RUclips than most bands on albums.
Absolute TRUTH! So many bands are complete jokes these days!
I love the Plexitone Low Gain. You sold it to me, not literally of course but I first saw and heard it on one of these demos.
Here again, just to listen to that intro track. That riff is insanely good.
Pete, thank God for RUclips! I enjoy all your videos. You are an inspiration and a guitar God! Cheers from Sudbury Ontario.
Love it how there’s always something new in your song writing. Ace.
Thanks!
How does this not become a kick ass full fledged song?
Not usually my thing...but that tone and RIDICULOUS playing through that muted articulation section???!! Love it!!!
This is what hard-driving guitar should sound, look, and feel like! Great work on that riff brother.

Great demo, Pete, as always. That tune rocks and all the sounds are really tasty. Love it.
Whew... little screamer!! Great playing and tones Pete, really ripping intro!! Keep on Rockin'!
Great opening riff! But then again, all your gear demo tracks are outstanding.
I thought I had heard all there was to offer in MIB pedals. This one sounds insanely good and so does Pete's incredible playing. Good Lord, do I need another dirt pedal? Leaning yes....
"Guy on the Fly" could be your next album title. Get yer Wings.
Caught that little homage to Paranoid, there.
Oh man, your're so damn good! Love your playing and your sound knowledge. And the pedal sounds perplexingly good:-)
I got the Plexitone 2nd version...awesome pedal...it's really all you need!
You are the mad scientist of gear reviewers. Love it!
Seriously, how can anyone with ears give any of Pete's videos a thumbs down?
Thanks Kevin!
What a great opening track, definitely caffeine inspired! Cool pedal, love how builders are starting to realize the value of a treble boost added to plexi-style pedals.
Killer song! Killer sound! Killer Pete!
Seriously, how can anyone that plays guitar, listens to guitar, or just likes Pete's playing give a thumbs down? What exactly more are you expecting from Pete's top notch videos?? I literally cannot imagine better videos for this subject. I am perplexed.
Good o´ Pete doing a great job as usual. (And putting so much love on it)
Man, that lick at 8:23 is SMOKIN!
Great intro demo song, listenable on its own without even using it to evaluate the pedal. That's a clever pedal-holder you came up with there, by the way.
Dang.....that is a total killer sound!
AH, a Carl Martin pedal video...always a good time and killer jams, Pete.
I'll say it again : release the demo songs, Pete. As always, great tone, great phrasing, great riffs.
You're loving being able to do those 80's lead burns with the whammy, funny deny it.
Pete: I only stop by for the playing, but great demo;) 👍👍
Threw in a little "Flick of the Switch". NICE!!!
Sounds great...I've also used the Plexi Drive deluxe....very similar....thanks for sharing...
Pete that song sounds so much like...nothing I’ve ever heard! There should be a YT algorithm that counts how many times we replay your intros 😃
:) thanks for watching!!!
Worth it just for the video at the beginning!
Cool!
Would use it as a preamp in a fly rig.
Hahaha...have NEVER heard a bad demo come from Pete Thorn. Blows me away how you come up with riff after riff with awesome bridges. Great work..
Thanks!
It's the Red Guitar Song! That Suhr with the body binding Suhr is pretty.
Great sounding pedal and awesome demo. Pete really is one of the top guitarists out there. Kind of like Page & Brian May had a child with Eddie & Jeff Beck, but Gilmour was the step-father. Excellent playing every time!
Haha! Thanks!
Such playing! Great tone! Great-looking guitars! Great way to start my Sunday morning!
Amazing intro and that WarWick Bass is Beautiful...Great Demo Pete!!
That Knaggs sounds great! And the Garnet Red Suhr of course....
Dayuum Pete! THIS, this pedal is in your wheelhouse! Fantastic
that song was a genius level of notes and ...awesome
I’m glad you dig it!
You, of all people, should know that's
the plexi tone. Plus it's in the title!🤘
What am I even saying? You rock PT!
Wow, Pete amazing sound and as always you play the guitar masterfully!!
Thanks so much!
Carl Martin makes some fantastic pedals.
Those Steve Stevens BK Rebel Yell's are killer pickups. I've got them in 3 of my guitars. Definitely my favorite pickups. Awesome demo like usual.
Love your playing Pete!!!
Sick main riff, Pete!!! It's stuck in my head!!!
the red strat gives me serious blue powder vibes when solo'ed
Great tune, greater sound and the greatest guitar playing I’ve heard from you in a long while; EPIC!! Keep it up man✨
Thanks Markus!
Another killer song Pete. The next album is going to rock!
Thank you Loren!
The Boost-Pot is a clean Boost. Range determines the Frequency Boost. The names are a bit confusing.
But: Great Sounds and great playing!
Those crazy intros are ALWAYS jaw dropping Mr. Thorn!!!!!!
Sounds so good - Proudly out of Denmark :D
Superb demo, Pete, floored.
GOD DAMN! that intro jam
Fantastic demo Pete and some great playing as always. 👍✌

hope this tune makes it to your next album
Awesome demo ! You are a very good guitarist.
coincidence, I have been looking to purchase one of the Marshall Guv'nor pedal, to try to get a bit of EL34 tone into my 6L6 Lonestar Mesa Boogie. Sounds like I am going to have to check that Plexiranger carefully.
Killer tune Pete, and that pedal is not to bad either!!
Holy shit dude, that's some of the best playing in a long time. That lick at 1:04 is so badass!

This was one day- top to bottom. I didn’t have the idea before.
@@PeteThorn Amazing!
Dude! 10:33 you fall back into Brian May while noodling. COOL.
Loved that lead!
