I honestly dont know how they pulled this off. I mean, their coasters are what draw the most crowds but I think it's a mistake that they closed the kiddie coasters and rides. What if a family comes in realizing they cant ride anything.
But in my opinion they should keep at least some family/kiddie rides open.
I also think they should've done some more with the event.
If it was me I would've added special lighting packages and much more:
Green Lanterns little night lights (that are located at various parts of the track that turn on at dusk) should be turned into a nice and bright green light package. This would make sense because the ride is themed to green lantern and a lantern is only used at nighttime and if this event is nighttime related then it makes sense. This also would make sense when parks start to close later, later on. They can also just add LED lights on the track similar to monster at that other park.
Superman Ultimate Flight would include some red lighting along the track.
Kingda Ka would acquire a light package that when the train launches the lights adjacent to the chat would flash as the train would zoom down the track (kind of hard to explain) and as the train crests the top a bright flash of green light would flash causing a type of jump scare and make everything more intense.
El toro could get a basic but nice yellow or blue light package with LEDs shining up at the base of the ride structure.
Bizzaro could get zenhanced lighting effects aswell around the coaster. This would add to the already nice effects.
Batman can introduce "foggy nights on batman". This experience can have a back story of the Joker releasing laughing gas/fog around the layout and not just any kind of baby fog, I'm talking like insane amounts of fog that can blind people. This would make batman even more intense. The queue would also include some joker laugh audio effects, painted faces on the queue, and the tunnel queue to be decorated.
(This ride overlay would only appear on events like power hours, fright fest and other special nighttime events.)
On regular nights, batman would only include a nighttime light package.
Jersey Devil would include a lot of fire effects, burnt rocks and alot of hell related stuff.
The joker would have a simple purple and green led light color scheme that would flash along the track.
    *Onboard audio*
Green Lantern would offer the Lantern oath as the train climbs the lift and some chaotic like audio would play as the train heads through the track.
Kingda Ka would include an audio similar to storm runner but it would go like "You're about to embark on the king of all coasters" the music would be nerve racking, unsettling and something youd see in a movie. The music would fade and there would be silence (this is the part where the riders wait for the launch). And a bit before the train goes "tss" the same voice would go "get ready to experience the kingda ka, king of all coasters in 3,2,1 bye." And the ride would launch.
Bizzaros audio would be the same as 2009.
Superman can ofc have the Superman audio.
Batman can have a demented, scary and rock and roll type music to add to the smokey areas.
Nitro would be the only exception to not included any type of light package but a terrorifying audio thay would accompany the ride. Nitro at night includes fast speeds and hills in the forest and hearing a horror movie/forest type audio would make this ride a must do at nighttime.
    *flat rides*
Zumanjaro would offer an alternative version instead of "go up, stay there for a second and then drop." Zumanjaro will rise to the top as usual (which will give amazing views of the nighttime overlays to all thecoasters) and then the ride would flash a bright light and fall without stopping at top striking terror on unknown suspects.
(A majority of the flat rides at Great adventure are lit up at night so that's good)
    *water rides*
Both Congo Rapids and the log flume would be open at nighttime.
    *regular park stuff*
As always multiple kids/family rides would be open.
Food options would also be included.
Multiple dance parties would be held across the park on stages offering disco-club style music and techno type lighting youd find at the club.
    *conclusion*
    This event would be called:
"Light the night! Six flags Great Adventure!"
"Experience Six Flags Great Adventure in a whole new light!"
And similarly enough to that of animal kingdom at Disney World, they could leave the safari open and view the animals at nighttime.
Tickets to the event would be higher than usual due to the number of festivities.
This event would be only he held on special days of the year.

    • @GreatAdventureGuide
      @GreatAdventureGuide  3 года назад +1

The food stands along Main Street will definitely be open (except for the gluten free stand all the way by the joker). Nothing is ever a guarantee with six flags, so they could change things around at a moments notice. But you’ll have a couple of ice cream places, a snack stand, pizza, bbq, and Johnny Rockets.

I went there and it was great. I think I saw you but missed the chance to say hi. I rode everything multiple times including 10 rides on toro. I decided to go again this week, and it was a lot more crowded, and their was five minute waits.

@@GreatAdventureGuide okay and I’m going from 1-5 next Friday and why are the lines long every time I goes to Six Flags and I can never go on Wonder Women or Nitro or Batman or Green Lantern because the lines are always long and would the lines be long in the summer and how long do you think the wait be for Jersey Devil?

    • @GreatAdventureGuide
      @GreatAdventureGuide  3 года назад

@@ChristianShea7 Yeah, not sure if there will be many school groups there because of Covid, so I would imagine that it shouldn't be too crowded during the day. Thought you were going for Coaster Power Hours, not the normal day hours. And the Jersey Devil isn't open yet, but will open at some point this summer.
