      I don't understand why you needed to insert 'math' in to this? It's music theory, math is an Asian stereotype.

      @@Mpivovitz (math)/punk/core/emo . Is sub genre , for those who are ill informed. The fact that what you interpreted was a racial stereotype is what you were thinking and perceived.

    Okay but I think what we really need is a chord progression video. For example, I’ve played guitar for ten years. Everything I know is by ear, and I can pick up a majority of songs in a day or a few days if it’s super technical like polyphia. However, everything I know is based off of sound, and some general knowledge of the chords I’m playing. I would love to see a video of if you start with an (example) Emin7 what three chords could I use after? Also, more chord progressions in general because you have an incredible video teaching format. The way you tab everything out is perfect for any level guitarist. My sister has only played for a couple months now and she has picked up a lot from these videos. I have played for over a decade and can learn four or five voicings by sitting through your videos.

    Interesting. But what is the point of this tuning? Or what is the point of tune your guitar out of standard, in general? To try out new things?
    I'm a beginner, don't be rude... : )

    • @geo4041
      @geo4041 3 года назад +11

      To create chords and harmonies you normally can't in standard tuning way easier, also if you try and freestyle in tunings that are based on a chord instead of intervals almost everything you do sounds great

    • @tyr4489
      @tyr4489 3 года назад +7

      retuning your guitar allows you to create voicings (how chords are organized) that wouldn't be possible in standard, or just makes some things easier
