Dude you da man this fan trick saved me hours of work and i wish I had realized how easy this was this trick will save me many hours working on this van thanks again
Was dreading this job looking at all the other videos, but this method is super easy. I spent more time finding my tools than actually changing the alternator and was able to get it done with the tire still on. Thanks a ton!
I don't get why other videos say to remove the AC compressor and such when it's literally this easy. Thanks for the video my guy, made it way too easy for me.
This guy smarter than the mechanic shop. Glad I watched your video first I think nightmares pulling AC compressor to the side and probably taking a risk up losing freon
My alternator burned out because my fuel pump relay kept running (you’ll hear a “whine” near the rear driver side when the engine is off - fixed with TIPM Plug-In Relay System through vertical visions). Taking the fan out made switching the alternator a breeze. Thank you.
Taking the fan out looks like the easiest video I’ve watched on how to do this and you didn’t even need that special inverted E7 socket to take that stud out either
Thank for the redo and simplify of this repair. May I ask what was your original symptoms or codes for this repair. I would just like to compare them to my problems, I’m unsure if this will be fix all end all to all the problems on my Dodge Caravan. So far I’ve repair so much.

disconnect your battery cables if the car turns off that means you have a bad alternator because the alternator is what keeps the car going after you started with the battery the battery is just to start the car the alternator keeps the car running

This was a great way to access the alternator, especially in my case since I was also replacing the thermostat. Thanks for sharing the idea!
Heck yeah man ! You saved my day with this. Way easier to remove that fan.
You are the man! Thanks for the video!!!!!
Thank you so much for this video. I removed and replaced the alternator in my 2013 Caravan in 1 hour 20 minutes with the fan trick.

What where the problems that lead you to change the alternator? I have 2013 dodge caravan and the engine cuts out after a few seconds.
Thanks for the tips. I hope you replace that tire soon !
O M G, i just got a migraine "TRYING" to watch this
Did you lose any coolant removing the upper hose? Thanks for the vid
Next time please use a jack stand. NEVER trust the jack alone. If the tiny seal fails the car will come straight down on you. Major safety tip
Why does this van start breaking down at 500/month and 70k miles so the warranty company don't do anything because of covid.
It's literally 7 years old certain things are going to need to be replaced. Mines got 225k on it and it's fine. Couple of parts here and there
Fr my mom just bought hers from a dealership and a month later the radio went out and now the alternator smoking . 2016 Caravan 90k miles .

You’re not missing much.
Removing the alternator from the top is actually the way Chrysler says to do it.
Thank you for this video!
You make it look easy.
