Ruidoso is the coolest mountain town .I lived there for over twenty years now I’m in capitan mountains outside of capitan.Love Ruidoso.I go once a week.
We’re in a great spot! Since I was born and raised in Silver city I haven’t had much experience in Ruidoso, we’ve been going up quite a bit more and I love it
Good morning... we would be interested in land in Rudioso NM... Would you be able to send us some listings? What is the difference in the upper canyon and Tiberon subdivision? Thanks for your time
I would like to move their in a year or so, but I am concerned about the "water" situation in the southwest in general. It looks like in 5-10 yrs. things could change 'cause of that alone as far as the quality of life. Finding an apartment for under a $1,000 a month might be a problem to? The winters look to be short 'n mild, that is one of the main reasons I would move there besides the outdoor activities
@@leviloveslascruces that's an excellent idea. thank you...I just saw a news report from Arizona about a couple that drilled down 1,300 feet looking for water and found none. it cost them $80,000 and nothing to show for there efforts. so it's scary
@@StartGierach Wow! That is a hefty bill. When selling vacant land, I always add a contingency that states that the purchase is contingent upon a well depth test, and the cost to drill will not exceed $25k.
My family and I will be making a trip there around Christmas time. We go several times a year and just love it! It is so beautiful!! This is the first time we'll be there around Christmas time and we can't wait!
@@leviloveslascruces Not sure yet. I'm originally from Denver so you know I may just have to get that mountain time in!! 😁 Can never have enough of the mountains!
@@leviloveslascruces It was amazing! My daughter and I were able to make it up to Ruidoso on Christmas Eve and get in a little holiday hiking and sight seeing. Hope you and your family had a great holiday season!

Beautiful area but too damn cold in the winter
I agree. I love being able to visit for the day, then come home to Las Cruces and the high desert.

I recommend calling the city of Ruidoso to ask what their water plan is. I know Las Cruces has a 40-year plan that is updated each year.
