Hi Rusty, thank you for sharing! It is so relaxing to hear you talk and joke along the way on all your videos! You are refreshing, funny, uplifting & positive. Something I love being around 😀😁🥰
Hi Rusty, Ever been up to the Show Low/Pinetop-Lakeside, AZ area? Where people in Phoenix and Tucson go to cool off. The terrain and atmosphere reminds me of Ruidoso a bit. Saw on a video last night where NM has put a hold on raising fees in the state parks in July. Are going to spend some time reviewing and considering options. Going to hapoen, but maybe not as extreme as earlier announced.
Love my hybrid with these gas prices.❤ Thanks for taking us along! ❤My dad always said don’t pay attention to people behind you said they can go around you!! Sure miss my daddy!! ❤ Trees with white blooms are Dogwood trees!! Very popular in East Texas where I live!
Good morning Rusty! Love me some Ruidoso ❤... I'm pretty sure the trees with white blooms are either Bradford pears..no fruit or could be dogwood...can't see flowers up close ..both beautiful enjoyed the ride. See you tomorrow on the tube...
Good afternoon all Rangers. Ranger Harley reporting for duty from my Carolina mountains. I have been to Rusty Balls. It is quite impressive. Put it on your bucket list, right after walking and swiveling. Thank you Rusty.
I went to Ruidoso every Summer with my grandparents as a kid. I did alot of trout fishing up and down that river. I moved there in my early 20's on a whim and loved every minute of it. I had a full time job and 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin within 4 days. Rent was $450 all bills paid and furnished. It's so beautiful and peaceful there. Unfortunately I had to come back to Texas after a few months and help take care of my Great grandmother. Its just not in my finances to go back or i would in a heartbeat!!! I've been praying for those devastated in the recent wildfires and floods. When i went, there had just been a wildfire. The locals are good people!!!
Thank you for taking this video. It’s good to be reminded of what it used to look like prior to last week. It’s so sad that my beautiful little town has been destroyed by the wildfires. 💔
In the Daytrip Ruidoso video..there was road work being done, right at the begining, have you ever look at renting those cabins in the background there? They look interesting.
My dad and his family were from Capitan. Even my dad's grandparents. As a kid I remember traveling there with family all the time from southern Cal in the station wagon and enjoying the t storms, horny toads and cooler mountain weather. My aunt and uncle lived by the high school. Alot of family are buried in Capitan. My grandad Cummins used to be the principle at the high school. And my dad and his older brother were state Champs in basketball by beating Albuquerque if you can believe it. I flew in once with my dad to El Paso too.
Thursday seems to be the day our restaurants close. While you were in town, the forestry had a controlled burn close to the Ranger Station. The off-road vehicles that you passed are rented for $400.00 for four hours. Truly!
Those are fruit trees lining the street. The elk and deer come into the village and help themselves to the fruit. The bear come into town and eat the fruit and knock over the trash cans that have food trash
Rusty. Texans may feel a special connection to this area because the eastern 1/3 of New Mexico at one time was part of the Republic of Texas! After Texas kicked out Sannie Annie it was broke and sold some of its land to retire its debt. The land extended all the way up to Wyoming and included some of the premier ski areas in Colorado like Vail and Steamboat Springs. Granted back then these areas were considered wastelands with hostile indians.
I pray for your safety, for your health, for your happiness, and your strength. I pray you never have to suffer the hardship lord will always be there for you in any way possible.
I Love Ruidoso. I was a great place to live when I was in my 20's, I'm 40 now. Sorry about the speed humps. They were put there because of my group of friends and myself. We zipped around town in Honda's 2000's and Mitsubishi Evo's and anything else fast we could get our hands on. Just kids being kids.

Wish we had blue skies like that being raining here pretty much every day this year so far . Thanks for the drive along Rusty
Enjoy your day trips. It is like taking a trip without leaving home.
Rusty if you turn on your turn signals when you change lanes your lane change assist won’t tug on your steering wheel, when your charging lanes.

Rusty, we don't mind if you visit , Rob Jagger campground. You don't need a RV to do that! Nice ride thru Ruidoso!
They are filming a movie in Ruidoso right now. The Lost Bus staring Matthew Mcconaugy. It is about the Fire that hit Paradise California.
My son in law is working on the movie, he's a artist.
Irony at it's finest.

Spring is springing.
Rusty I am from Arkansas and pretty good at knowing my trees BUT I couldn't find out what those pretty trees lining the streets of Ruridosa were.
Could be Dogwood or Chitalpa.
I'm in the great state of Arkansas.

What kind of camera is used for this video?
I lived in a frame cabin amongst the rest of them midtown
Different airports allow you to take different liquids on the planes which make no sense to me.

Gavilan Canyon
I don't know any Apaches who ski.
Many do. The schools are let out on certain days for the locals to ski. The residents of the rez can ski for free
