I am riddled with arthritis now, if it was not for your channel I would not be able to see again, what once blew my mind in real time. That was a brilliant film, perfect conditions made for some fantastic photography too. Cracking channel. I've cycled both ways down below on my JOGLE / LEJOG adventures and often looked up to them summits with tears in my eyes at their beauty.

That area - Stob Mhic Mhartuin and A'Chailleach - is one of my favourite locations for photography, overlooked by many for the Munro peaks in Glen Coe. I've had some great photos from that spot. I met up with Ray at Glencoe Mountain after his recent camp above Lochan na h'Achlaise, brave man in minus 8 temperatures, I had climbed Chrulaiste in the dark that morning. Love the tent shots. Looking forward to Xmas and January for a wild camp somewhere near there. Regards - John

Lucky wee weather gap for your astro photography. Have you tried different coloured tent lights? I reckon a deep glowing red or orange would add to a snowscape. Especially with your almost transparent tent. A stiff Laphroiag rather than Tomatin would have heated your tent up :-) Nice episode guys :-)
bish2t hi Bush - haven’t tried different coloured lights - a good idea 👍. I have however tried Laphroiag and the bottle sits dusty next to a bottle of Lagavulin in my cupboard 😂😂. Think I’ll stick to my softer Speysides and Highlands malts 🥃 😂

That area - Stob Mhic Mhartuin and A'Chailleach - is one of my favourite locations for photography, overlooked by many for the Munro peaks in Glen Coe. I've had some great photos from that spot. I met up with Ray at Glencoe Mountain after his recent camp above Lochan na h'Achlaise, brave man in minus 8 temperatures, I had climbed Chrulaiste in the dark that morning. Love the tent shots. Looking forward to Xmas and January for a wild camp somewhere near there. Regards - John

I was up near Knoydart the same night Ray was in Rannoch but didn’t have time to swing by Glencoe (went back via Dalwhinnie ) - that’s next weeks Vlog !

@@ScotlandsMountains I think we've always missed each other by hours or a few days. You were camping on an Am Bodach when I was on BEB, you were on Stac Pollaidh a few days after me, etc. You have a much better face for Vlogs, whereas I'm crabbit and carnaptious.... :-)

Hi, really enjoyed the video and the relaxed way it was presented. Found you by accident while hunting down videos on the scarp 1. The photos really show off the area and the tents, and overall inspire me to do better 😁😁. Lucky wee weather gap for your astro photography. Have you tried different coloured tent lights? I reckon a deep glowing red or orange would add to a snowscape. Especially with your almost transparent tent.
A stiff Laphroiag rather than Tomatin would have heated your tent up :-)

bish2t hi Bush - haven’t tried different coloured lights - a good idea 👍. I have however tried Laphroiag and the bottle sits dusty next to a bottle of Lagavulin in my cupboard 😂😂. Think I’ll stick to my softer Speysides and Highlands malts 🥃 😂
