On October 24th, on Silom and Sathorn roads, there will be a grand Hindu procession (Nawarati), which occurs only once a year. It's a significant event that closes the roads, and people will come out dressed up, setting up altars along the streets. You should consider going to see it. The event starts after 6 PM, and it will be crowded.
Many people have commented that it's a blend of Thai and Indian culture, but actually, it's a blend of Thai, Indian, and Chinese culture. The type of incense sticks they use and the fact that they offer them in threes is a Chinese tradition. Having the big round pot in front of the murti to stick the incense sticks in is also Chinese influence. The most characteristic Chinese influence is at 4:15. The woman in the blue-green shirt shaking that little box that makes a rattling noise. On the box, there's a little hole and the box are little sticks with fortunes on them. The devotee asks the deity a question and the stick that comes out is the answer. This is a Chinese tradition that's spread throughout East and Southeast Asia. Thailand is the perfect blend of SE Asia, India and China altogether in harmony.

Entire South east Asia has Indian culture
Especially with odisha Tamil nadu
Everything is OK,but one thing feel bad that all devoties entering in the temple with their shoes which lost the hollynes of that place.
This is walking temple, main stage is inside, but generally in Thai temple they are not allowed with shoes.
Thai Siamese Culture of Thailand is from Tamil Southern India 🙏 90% of Thai National People's fullname & surname are from Sanskrit words.
Removes shoes when Infront of the Lord
