Willem Dafoe was 66 when they filmed this. He picked up playing Osborn/Green Goblin like he never left, AND he did most of his own fight scenes. Legend.
This movie was a joy to watch. It felt like they brought ALL of the Spider-Man movies full circle.
Curing Green Goblin is a much better revenge, killing him is just what he wants but curing lets him live with all the memories of the horrible things he's done without insanity to justify it
This version of Green Goblin is a split personality. Norman is a victim here too. If they physically killed Goblin, Norman would die as well. Using the cure was the only way to kill Goblin without killing Norman.
