Thank you for this tutorial, I was making a recording with a blue yeti microphone but even on the mics lowest gain setting it was too loud, now I don't have to worry about clipping.
Please help, I use focusrite audio interface and I have connected my microphone through XLR cable. My microphone was working fine but suddenly now its volume is way too low when I try to record. I tried this tutorial but I couldn't find any solution.

lol i have the same problem, i have focusrite solo and a neewer microphone. if you find solution tell me! i will do the same PD while you find solution you can still volume up the voices with an equalizer/limiter/ whatever you want. Also lowering the volume of the rest of the tracks so that the voice is heard better
@ no I haven't. I searched in youtube but did not found any solution. So I bought new cable thought maybe it was cable problem but it wasn't. So I sent to service centre.

how do u remove the background noise with ur blue snowball? mine picks up and has like background noise or white noise
While recording, use the fl studio preset called Fruity Limiter, and select the noise gate preset! While recording, there wont be any noise
