For indoor drifting with drift tires I found it is better on the medium power level. It has more control. And the button under power level switch is for lights 😉
I have the brushed mini infraction body version. I like it indoors when weather is crap 🙂

little tip , back the hinge pins holding arms in just a bit will make suspension smoother

Yeah looks the same as the SG 1603 and UDIRC 1603, just use some duck tape of the sticky holder it came with

Do you know which oil shocks work for this rig ? I can’t find them on BG, I was thinking same oil shocks as SG1603 I think it’s the same platform different name brand
Im not 100% certain as haven't looked into hat, but as you say im pretty sure its the exact same platform as the SG1603 and the UDIRC 1601/1602/1603

Also does the gyro only work above a required speed? I can’t seem to get it to work with turning up the dial. I didn’t hold power like you did in the video I just shook it from side to side and their was no correction.
Great video 👍do you know of a way to fix the low end cogging ?
Believe in the instructions is states gyro kicks in around 30% throttle, which is fine as you only really need the gyro when your moving, didn't notice any low end cogging on our one
@@HardcoreRC 6:06 - 6:08 you can here the same cogging noise mine makes on the low in when gentle with the trigger

What tires did you run it on in your kitchen?
The stock hard drifting tires that comes with it, then it has rubber ones for outside road use as well

@@timberhurlach3427 In the carpark drifting we had the hard drift tires on - in the skate park the rubber tires.
Sweet vid guys.... But 24mph is slow as my brushed one done 18.7mph you could loosen the diffs make it a bit faster as i gained extra 5.2mph from it..... My sg1603 is different it has no speed controll on that setting on that channel thats my lights and seem my lights have diffrent modes but then my sg1603 was one first from pre order i had mine before all the big yputubers did lol
Was the 18.7 with the loser diffs ? might try that, lipo wasnt, its still 28% faster which i would say is about right for a 2s brushless, check a few others and also hit 24mph. Yeah your may be different as it was a first model, great little cars though that is for sure
Mate im tell u the DR8 IS NUTTS well worth the money 💰 god its FAST REALLY FAST even on 4S defo got to get it the boys will love it it really duz take a betting but do the upgrades tho 😁😁👍👍👍👍

@@HardcoreRC yeah I got mine of modelsport £ 350 worth it loads of fun parts ar cheep for it iv put on all the blue anodised parts on it and it didn't cost that much recommend it 👍👍

I bought this for Christmas and my batteries seem to take more than 4 hours to charge, is this normal?
If using the USB charger then yes this is pretty normal. A proper charger will charge from flat to full in around 1 hour
