DJI Avata Head-Tracking and skimming over a stream

  • Trying out head-tracking mode, which feels a bit wild sometimes! Slowed it down in a few spots to enjoy the scenery. Overall, it's a very fun way to use the Motion Controller.

      Yes, the Avata is really great In the forest since prop guards protect it from branches. It can get closer to the ground than most drones also.

      Actually, I managed to stop the Avata just before it hit her leg. 😅 But it was close! I stopped and pulled off the goggles to make sure she was okay.

      Nice flying! I find it so difficult to fly smoothly using the motion controller

      Thank you. I don’t know if this will help but something that confused me at first was how turning worked. You tilt the Motion Controller like the motion of pouring water to turn. I once thought it was a twist of the controller, like a screwdriver that made the Avata turn. Also, make sure head-tracking is off for the most control. Head-tracking is a great feature but can be confusing since you can look one way and fly another.

      @@AvataTime Yes, head tracking might confuse if you are new with motion controller.
