    ''4:53 '' 16 inches 45 deg. elbow center is 254 mm,( 5/8 x 25.4 = 15.875 mm x 16= 254mm) thats why 8440-254= 8186 it is not about the weld gap. Thanks for sharing

      you are right nihat not the weld gap..the author used the 15.8 only ( lacking .075)

    Good evening.
    Trabaho ba talaga ng Pipefitter ang
    mga ganitong calculation or trabaho ng Craftsman?
    Apat na taon akong naging pipefitter
    construction and maintenance ni hindi ko naranasan sa trabaho yang calculation na yan.

      i think yan po ang standard given na value ng formula paiba iba din po yan depende kung 45 ba or 90 degrees long or short radius 5/8 in fraction, 0.625 in inches, 15.875 in mm

    Take off 45 degrees L/R
    T.O. = O.D. of elbow x 0.625 inch.
    Take off 90 degrees L/R
    T.O. = O.D. of elbow x 1.5 inches

    USING 15.8 IS WRONG YOU BETTER USE .625, OR 15.875 TO GET THE EXACT MEASUREMENT.
