Can highly recommend Bow Only, Gino. Probably one of the most fun playthroughs i've done, most bosses just can't do anything to you outside of a certain distance.

When he's fighting the foreskin duo he mentions that he doesn't want to put the Apostle into phase 2. I've seen this a lot from Elden Ring videos saying that "The Noble is easier to deal with" and I never really understood this as I personally find the Apostle to be much easier to fight than the Noble. His attacks, while a bit faster, have very rhythmic timings to them so it feels very much like a dance when fighting him as opposed to the Noble where it feels like you're playing one of those stacker arcade games that is 100% rigged against you. Awkward delays in attacks, deceptively large hitboxes, and of course, the roly-poly, all make the Noble a pain to fight. The Apostle on the other hand feels very fluid and intuitive for me with each attack following a sort of beat/rhythm that is very easy to fall into without having to feel like you're on the edge of your seat forcing your self to think about each attack's timing... but maybe that's just me heh
I’ve found endurance to be very OP in Elden Ring. I have 84 end in ng+4 plus some talismans/Radahn’s rune and I can basically never stop moving 🙂 Not to mention you can wear heavy armor and still light roll. Really glad they didn’t split stam and equip stats like ds3
Random fact, Golem Halberd is very weird, it has a great spear Heavy attack move set, it isn't even a Halberd but a Colossal weapon instead, and for that reason it is the only "halberd" that can have Charge Forth

The dual greathammer build made me happy to see because in DS2 my favorite build was dual powerstanced dragonteeth one was infused with lightning the other was dark, absolutely shredded bosses and was a lot of fun in pvp.
54:30 Omen Killers are perfumers. That is a big flower which has materials for perfumes. It actually makes sense that the omen killer and flower are together.
I believe this is going to be a very very boring run. There are 7 different aux effects possible in the game, one of them deals no damage (sleep) and one of them is entirely useless because all bosses are immune to it (death blight). There are only so many ways you can apply these effects while doing minimal or no weapon damage, so especially in the case of poison or scarlet rot the fights would just amount to blasting the boss with rot breath or poison mist and then waiting for the effect to wear off.
ive got a build for you to try in Reforged. its a dual dagger heavy affinity build with the Destiny or whatever their called for extra poise dmg. so you basically just put cragblade on 2 bloodstained daggers and you can stun enemies pretty good for a dagger.
my favorite cheese for the great jarsenal is going to the little rock ledge pocket and baiting them over and getting them to hurdle you into the briney blue below.

Love to see that Golem Halberd. Found one randomly on a RL 150 Strength character, took it for a spin, and decided to beat the game with it. Absolutely my favorite Colossal. Giants? Hunted. Earth? Quaked. Waves? Only the darkest. Looks great with the Unaltered Banished Knight gear. .
I remember while playing through elden ring for the first time, my friends were looking for how to get to the giant jar. Meanwhile, I accidentally found it after going through the underground area. I loved the first few months of this game.
Soulsborne boss difficulty really just depends on the build the person uses. For example, in Elden Ring, I really don’t find Malenia, Maliketh, and Elden Beast that difficult because I like to have storm blade on my weapons, which helps to get more hits on the boss. But at the same time I really struggle with Morgott because of how fast he is.
theres some truth in your comment, but ure dismissing the fact that it still takes skill to kill bosses solo in all these games, i can give you the strongest build there is and chances are youll still die if you fight a boss youve never fought before.
I’d say build is only half of it. There are builds that will work more against some bosses than others. And there are some bosses that heavily counter certain playstyles (like how Astel fucks over melee or Rennala is heavily resistant to magic) but these are the minority of bosses. No amount of having the right build is going to help you survive their moves and punish. Storm blade doesn’t suddenly give you the ability to perfectly dodge waterfowl dance.
Gotta respect your ABSOLUTE devotion to the green. I should learn from you. Since younger I had OCD and had to have GREEN in my equipment. As much as possible. "Flashback ds1 ds2" green is my fave color. But even with that I still valued my sanity enough to not do these sorts of builds. Tho in retrospect I should have.

Some of them were disturbed by their own work, so they used perfumes to ease their mind and allow them to carry out their duty. Miranda powder, which comes from the Miranda blossoms, is a common ingredient in these perfumes. It’s likely this omenkiller was gathering powder from the blossom so he could create perfumes to help him do his job.
David goggins is perfect for this, endurance doesn’t necessarily mean speed. It means to resist fatigue and keep going, or stamina in other words. Usain Bolt can run fast doesn’t mean he can run far, David is a great symbol of endurance
Every time I heard the patches notification I started panicking and got confused. I was playing Elden Ring at the same time, and kept thinking he had somehow come back from the dead seeking vengeance or to haunt me whenever it went off.
I would call this, the sir blocking tin build because you have so much stamina that you can just shield and tank everything with flying colors and pretty much take no damage because you have such a massive stamina a meter

Around the 20 minute mark Gino was talking about difficult bosses. I think what makes a boss difficult is how big the margin for error/punishment is. With SoC his margin for error changes depending on phase but it’s generally the same through out and the punishment isn’t too harsh once you see the wind up for those attacks. Midir’s margin for error can be as big as the boss room he’s in 😅 and while for those who learn his move set for speed runs and no hit runs might say that he’s objectively easier, the punishment from making a mistake of any sort is so high it becomes a more difficult boss fight. Essentially, SoC is mostly skill based and a decent player who’s not thought him before can probably win it after a few tries (within reason). Midir is an endurance test where you need to be 99% flawless to beat it Of course these are my opinions and I’m not saying that this IS the way it works

There's sp many options to get bonus strength in ER aside from levels. For example: certain armor pieces, godrick's great rune, starscourge talisman, and the Strength physick tear

There's sp many options to get bonus strength in ER aside from levels. For example: certain armor pieces, godrick's great rune, starscourge talisman, and the Strength physick tear

I personally felt like it would’ve been easier if you had used a bleed build for this because that plus all of that endurance would’ve made damage to way higher.

Before I even watch the vid I just wanna say... This is literally the way I play Dark Souls 1 99% of the time. Get both Encumbrance rings, heaviest armor possible, and a Lightning Claymore :)
