You get it, thank you. So nice to see an appreciation for the tribute Tori is paying to Karen and Richard while still maintaining her own lane, as you put it. There's so much more depth to her voice than being what some just label as a Karen sound alike. (Even though that's hardly something to be ashamed of!) I saw most of your Carpenters reactions when you first did them several years ago and also you first two Tori videos and have been waiting for your reaction to this one, and you didn't disappoint, sharing an intuitive insight and understanding from a musician's point of view. I would be remiss to not point out the incredible contribution of Jim Wilkas and all the Band Hub musicians in the video. I believe Jim was the one who approached Tori about adding her vocals to the piece that they actually had already put together. My understanding is that they are collaborating on another Carpenters song to be released sometime in the near future. So much more that could be said, I see you have also reacted to It's Impossible, still have to watch that. Thanks again for the enjoyable reaction and as always, thanks Joe for the request, you rock.

Live is the domain of Autotune. Post production is the realm of Pitch Correction. The two basic evils of a corrupted industry. There needs to be a certification process/seal that guarantees there was neither of them used in the production.
Hi Chod! Started with a banger and well, you’ll see (or you already have). The only thing was there are credits at the end and beginning of the video, that would have helped. James Wilkas is the genius (understatement) who put this all together. He had a lot of the music done from a previous attempt but his original lead vocalist sadly passed away. Fast forward to 2024 and RUclips introduced him to Tori. Talk about fate! This video is in perfect sync with the original. The next two aren’t songs Karen fully or at all, sang. So they can hold their hurtful comments. I also realize I didn’t give you one of her originals. One was from back at Christmas time but one came out the day after WOJB. And one she wrote is coming soon. I’ll maybe rectify that if the new one comes sooner than later and do an original set. One written by others and one written by Tori with a pair of her writers from Christmas, doing perfecting work. Have fun and I’ll see you in the others! Joe

@@ronraskind Don't get me wrong, I love her voice and I hope to see and hear more of her. She should be on the Voice. I've been hoping for a voice like hers to be on that singing competition for years.

I see it all the time and it misses the point that she can sing the songs Karen never did and honor those she did and do them justice. Her range is different. Not as low but way the hell, higher. Have you seen her new cover of Sam?
@@jbs256 I was taking this video as how much she sounds like Karen, I was pointing out the differences. If this was a her doing a different non Karen song, I wouldn't have compared it. I thought that's what this video is all about. She's a great singer. BTW, Karen did have a very high range also. Karen was also one of the best drummers in Rock N Roll history.

She met Richard at the 55th. If they made plans that’s a secret. It’s doubtful though. We can hope.
