Gotta love a good northeast vid!
Thanks so much Michael!
When I first started following your channel, you were doing this exact thing. That was a couple years before you moved to Florida. It’s been fun following you thru the years.
Thanks so much for sticking with me for all these years. I would be in a completely different life if it wasn’t for you and all others who continue to watch. Send me your mailing address and I’ll send you a little gift. Fishaholictv@gmail.com
Of all your videos I really like the Shoreline Montauk ones over the years. Inspired me to go there several times. Great show and tells my friend!
Aww thanks so much I’m glad it inspires you to get out there!!!
Fishing bridges at night with a 7-9" sluggo is like striper candy. I also tend to add pro cure menhaden on it to help with scent. Well done with that retrieve technique 🙂
Which bridges
Great video and adventure! Thanks for sharing and always gettin it done! Keep up the good work my friend!
Love fishing there and the golf course up above it has to be one of the best cheap public courses in NY
Another great video! Love the underwater and drone footage too!
Another awesome video. Love the overhead drone footage - world class.
Thanks so much and tight lines!!!
Congradulations on the engagement Rich much love and nice vid im already setting my calendar open for the next one
Thanks so much!!! Next video should be up Sunday 8Am ET
I love the NY/RI fishing vids, I still remember the wood river fishing vids from RI years ago. That's how I found the channel trying to research the wood a bit.
Hahaha aww thanks so much for following along for so many years! Send my your mailing address and I’ll send you a little thank you gift once I get home. Fishaholictv@gmail.com
Love stripper fishing, use to fish off the rocks in Maine.
Great video thanks for bringing us along.
Cheers
Thanks so much for watching and I’m glad you enjoyed!!!
Had to check the date when I read the title! Welcome home bud
Great segment bud as always.
Love the channel.
Good luck Rich!
Go get it.
Thanks so much!!!
Great video👍👍👍
That drone shot was sick!!
Love the Procyon AL.
Yeah it’s such a smooth little reel!
Always cool to see you back up in MTK my man, I was up there a couple weeks ago for a few days but unfortunately the weather wasn't very cooperative. Awesome video per usual Rich! Can't wait to see the offshore stuff next.
Glad to hear!!! More to come! Yeah weather sometimes can be 50/50 out there. One minute it’s raining and windy and then the next it clears up and is beautiful. Also with the tides. Depending on the wind direction and tide it can be completely polar opposites. Like a hard south west wind and an outgoing tide can make the seas rough and nasty. Wait a little for the incoming tide and it can flatten out like a lake on hard south west wind. Thanks so much for watching and tight lines!!!
Hey man already an absolute w vid
Hahaha thanks so much I hope you are catching!!
Topwater Blues always fun.
Yeah always! Thanks for watching!!
@@FishAholicTV you are welcome; glad to see you back on The Island.
Nice fun vid. I haven’t had the opportunity to fish up in that area.
Awesome place to fish! You should try and make a trip!
back to your roots haha!
You know it! Tight Lines!!
Yessir baby!
Thanks so much and tight lines!!
Next time you’re in New York go to salmon river in Pulaski whole lot of fun I’ll be there Monday
Maybe one day I’ll travel to the northeast to fish!
Nice vid I gotta try that spot
Yeah it’s an awesome spot
I luv sluggos… have caught everything in nj on them
Yeah they are a great simple lure!
You should come up to the Cape Cod Canal the Fall run has begun😊
Ahhh I was up there but decided not to fish the canal because I did not want to add any more pressure to that area. So many people have filmed videos there. So I went further north to fish a more unexplored area. Video should be cool 😎 thanks for watching!!!
Sweet vid Rich! How did you rig up that sluggo? Is that something similar to a weighted twistlock and if so what size hook and weight? Thanks!
Nothing really special. Just a 4/0 or 5/0 swimbait hook with the little slugo and no weight. Also tying with a loop knot so it has the most action.
Yeeeeew🤙🏽
Thanks so much for watching!!
Hey Rich! Another great vid brotha. Ps... On your video's title, I think you meant to say .."Back Bay"...
Hahaha yeah I fixed it. Thanks so much!!! To many long hours editing 😫
First one woot... sptriper time at easy coast
Thanks so much!!!
🤙Rich! Eat more fish 🐟
You know it!
Thought that was a METS hat at first Rich..
Got a spot that is nice in okeechobee for hybrid bass , when it gets into the winter if you’d be down to
Yeah that would be really epic!!! My email is fishaholictv@gmail.com
Sounds good , sent you an email

What Florida fish would you compare our stripers and bluefish to?
Ima NE fisherman but definitely snook for striper and redfish for blues but neither can really compare to stripers and blues there’s nothing like em from what I’ve seen
@@blizzington4528 Not sure there's more fun the a gator blue on light tackle. That can really get your heart pumping.
Now that I’ve lived in Florida. I would compared Snook more to a Largemouth Bass than and a Striped Bass. Snook pull 100 times harder of course than and LMB but there movements are very similar and how they feed. Striped Bass in my opinion and bluefish are more more pelagic. Migrating much further distances to eat and showing much more aggressive feeding behavior. You can find Snook blitzing like Stripers and bluefish but it’s less common. Also I relate snook a lot to LMB because I catch some of my biggest Snook now. While just dragging or hopping a soft plastic on the bottom. Just like you would fish a rubber worm on the bottom for LMB. When I first moved down here I use to fish my lures faster and higher in the water column like I do for Striped Bass. But since slowing down the presentation I’ve caught more and more bigger Snook.
Also I think Snook are smarter than Stripers and Bluefish or Snook are just less aggressive. But Snook will contemplate eating a particular size bait. But if you throw the right size bait to a Snook they will eat it immediately. Stripers and Bluefish I don’t are going to turn down a bunker or mullet 4” to 12”. I’ve thrown a 4” mullet at a Snook and it shows absolutely no interest. 5 min later I throw a 12” mullet at the same Snook and it eats it immediately!
@@bobbyk3469 Yeah man that’s what I’m saying I’ve fished in FL too and I’m always ready to get back to catch striper. TL!
Whag size sluggo are you using here?
I believe 6”. Thanks for watching!
I'm a fan dog, but this one was underwhelming 😊
