Awesome! Did you see my video on free mods for it? They really did make a difference. Watch out for the driveshafts. That is the common breakage. I have not had that issue yet.
Add some wheel weights to help with the traction. It’ll be much cheaper than new tires! I did 100g per front wheels and 75g per rear. Also, if you’re ready to start investing a little, change the esc to a hobbywing 1080 and you’ll solve your low throttle control. I’ve had a lot more fun driving mine since!
Thanks for the tips! Fortunately, I have some tires laying around from previous projects that I think will work great and be free to me. I typically shy away from adding much rotating weight to vehicles, but this one especially with the driveshaft issues people have. I am glad to hear it has worked for you though! I am really considering the Hobbywing 1080, but then I have to put a new receiver and transmitter with the truck also. Not a big deal since the DumboRC units are only $30. Still - just trying to figure out what my long-term plan is for this truck!
@@RoadsideRC Fair enough if you have other wheels on hand already :) As for the new transmitter needed if switching the ESC, I believe I you have a Flysky gt5 or gt3 right? You could just get another radio receiver and voila :)
Wonder if there is a way to get a metal gear transmission for it. Then I be willing to up power a tiny bit. That and motor and driveshaft. Been wanting one as well. Great video.
Thanks! No major upgrades are available, from what I have found. This truck is great for what it is, but not something I would sink a bunch of $$$ into.
I've just got one of these (thankyou wifey)...I want to upgrade the battery but I'm new to all this. Is the ESC compatible? Do i need to change any settings etc?
A belly dragger!!!! I love it
It does well!
Thank you!
Super awesome friend wow wow loving that rig 👍😎😎😎😮
Thank you!
Great truck for the price!
Your video convinced me to get one. It will arrive this Saturday. If the kids don’t like it, I will claim it. Haha!

@@RoadsideRC several times. Haha! I’ll watch them a few more as soon as I get the crawler. Thanks!
@@RoadsideRC this one is coming with the barrage 1/12 driveshafts. He mentioned I will have to clearance them to fit.
Yes! That is a common upgrade.
👍👍👍👍
Thank you!
Nice Roadside

This thing continues to surprise me!
Another awesome upload. We are. throwing down a full view as always,
Thank you for the support!

Yes it does! Low and slow!

*full viewed👍Au👍and its thumbs up like*
You are right - exactly what I will test next!
That is an awesome place to crawl!
Thank you - yes, it really is the best place I have ever found!
@@RoadsideRC I have never been there, but it looks great!
I'm sold
It is a fun truck for the $$$.
The only real problem that it has out of box is the battery...other than that it's a solid rc that you can leave as is or build on...
I have certainly been very happy with it!
Awesome RC,great video and crawling
Thank you!

Nice video, I'm going to need to try those mods now
I do recommend them!
Excellent video!!!!!
It did pretty good, I don't even think it tipper over once!!!!
Not on video at least.
Low and slow!
Great video bro! Great little rig, I'm totally impressed.
Bravo!
It has surprised me for how cheap it is!
It looks so nice! shows good performance👍👍
Yes. Really good performance for the price!
What an awesome place to run! You’re off to a much better start with your Temper than I am!🤣😂
Well done!👍😊
Thanks 👍
Mine is all free mods - that is it!
I've just got one of these (thankyou wifey)...I want to upgrade the battery but I'm new to all this. Is the ESC compatible? Do i need to change any settings etc?
I ran a 2S lipo on it.
Only downside is that it doesn't have low voltage cutoff, so I ran a lipo alarm and kept my runs short.
Definitely needs different tires
I went with some Pro-line tires later and it really helped!
Cheap dont mean incapable but yes with cheaper rc's theres always room for improvement, even more expensive rc vehicles have their issues
That is right!
Can you run these trucks on Lipo out of the box
Yes! But, it does not have a LVC, so you will need to monitor the battery or get a battery low voltage buzzer.
@@RoadsideRC I’ve been out of the game for a long time. Is there a way to put a lvc in the car so as it’s running it will tell me it’s low?
