What I have done for food is bring a container of sandwiches and drinks then at lunchtime exit the park to eat then come back. If you have a later lunch the line to re enter the park won't be very long

yeah i usually brought my own food from home and would get a stamp out to my car, eat there and reput on sunscreen and be good for the day
I love our little theme park, and you are correct, night rides on twister 2 are the best.

Never done night rides on twister 2 or at all at Elitchs. Maybe this summer I can exclusively go at night solo or with friends and see it all

So informative. Haven’t been since 2016 and took opportunities to go for granted. Bought my season pass on New Years this year and plan going at least 3x: once at theme park (solo) once at the water park (solo or with friends), and then either side with friends. Might make it 4 to 6 if I bring my gf when she visits. I’ll go to Elitch gardens as soon as it’s a warm day and it’s a day off for me! Can’t wait to go!

I don’t think I have ever seen employees move as slowly as they do there. Watching them load a ride was like watching a video buffer on dial-up. The rides didn’t seem to be in the best shape. We actually got stuck in the wooden coaster for a while. They did give vouchers to cut line for a ride so that was nice.

Im going sometime this week. Im from Nashville so my homepark is Dollywood but im in colorado to visit family for a bit! Im excited. I hear really bad things about Elitch Gardens but i think it shouldnt be to bad because its just an older park :) you need more subscribers 🥲

Just realized they use to have a boomerang called sidewinder at herhsey park and y’all do to but sidewinder is a different ride there lol

I feel like you have never been to the park. The lockers don't cost money (at the stations for each roller coaster and ride) and the observation tower is closed (and has been for a long time).
I haven’t been in 4 years, and I’m sure a lot has changed. These were just my opinions, but seeing as I got the facts wrong I’ll make an update video.
When do you plan to visit next?
Perhaps multiple times this summer
If you go at ten you will be in a pretty long line, I like to get there at 8-9 ish and even then there is still some people. With tickets, if you go often I recommend a season pass most ticket are 60-70 bucks and a season pass was like 80 so it was only ten more dollars, it will be 80 Chase of taxes but the site says 75. For rides, in this video its now even thought of yet, but one of my favorites is twister 3 that just opened. I've only gone once and it is so fun, they made like a bigger drop and a longer tunnel and maybe some more but idk.
My favorite bud is girl scout cookies.
Went a few days ago, visiting from west coast. Ticket was $50, and parking was $30. IMO $80 for this was such a ripoff. And yes, these were pre-purchased online a few days prior to arrival.
It is literally a 4 hour experience. There are only about 6 rides even worth talking about or riding if you’re an adult. I went on a Thursday, most rides were a quick 5-30 min wait, except for Twister III, which was over an hour, plus it had multiple breakdowns. Mind Eraser is absolutely terrible, it is so janky and throws you around. Same experience with Twister III… literally the worst ride experience I have ever had amongst all of the rides ive been on in my entire life in different states. Twister III is the only ride where it was so painful that all i could focus on was how much longer until it ended. Even the people behind and in front of me complained about it.
Also, expect the typical high school kids running the rides. Including not paying attention to when someone is stuck in the restrains or when they totally ignore the single rider line for over 20 minutes and would have gotten on twice if I just went in the normal line. Sad that this is the only notable park in CO, because man, I cannot recommended it at all.

I Will visiting this park this summer around begin July. Is it possible to get all the coaster credits? or do you need a child for the kiddy coasters? Nice tips and tricks anyway i will keep that in mind.
Theres only 1 kiddy coaster and you need a kid to ride it. Sidewinder and/or half pipe are closed somewhat frequently so you'll just have to pray they're open

What is “coaster credits”. I plan on going in June .. should probably know what a coaster credit is
yep, a kid is required to ride with on Blazin Buckeroo but the rest are certainly doable in less than a day
@@user-yb7eh3yh3l a coaster credit is just a tangible thing that people who enjoy roller coasters count as a stat of how many coasters they've been on: a credit count
So has the observation tower been open? All 11 times i've gone it's been closed
