I really don’t hate the park because it’s my home park I usually just like the water park

Went a few days ago, visiting from west coast. Ticket was $50, and parking was $30. IMO $80 for this was such a ripoff. And yes, these were pre-purchased online a few days prior to arrival. It is literally a 4 hour experience. There are only about 6 rides even worth talking about or riding if you’re an adult. I went on a Thursday, most rides were a quick 5-30 min wait, except for Twister III, which was over an hour, plus it had multiple breakdowns. Mind Eraser is absolutely terrible, it is so janky and throws you around. Same experience with Twister III… literally the worst ride experience I have ever had amongst all of the rides ive been on in my entire life in different states. Twister III is the only ride where it was so painful that all i could focus on was how much longer until it ended. Even the people behind and in front of me complained about it. Also, expect the typical high school kids running the rides. Including not paying attention to when someone is stuck in the restrains or when they totally ignore the single rider line for over 20 minutes and would have gotten on twice if I just went in the normal line. Sad that this is the only notable park in CO, because man, I cannot recommended it at all.

You know to avoid Elitch Gardens when Sidewinder is the number 1 coaster in the park lol. As a former CO native who visited Elitch Gardens often, I can say this park is so sad…

As someone who grew up in Tampa Florida going to Busch Gardens, all I can say after this video is that I had it good.

They made Twister II Into Twister III and it’s MUCH SCARIER

Boomerang was the first coaster I rode and the backwards part rally f'ed me up on top of cementing phobias of heights. Cant go in rides that go upside down to this day. I will littersly ride the log foom once and the twister two the eat of the day with a stop at burger stall #? At some point mid day.

I don’t think I have ever seen employees move as slowly as they do there. Watching them load a ride was like watching a video buffer on dial-up. The rides didn’t seem to be in the best shape. We actually got stuck in the wooden coaster for a while. They did give vouchers to cut line for a ride so that was nice.

Not worth it. They trashed the ambiance of old elitches and threw rides on a chunk of pavement

Twister 2 is not smooth. And glenwood caverns has the best rides in the state with their flats

Trust me, all the rides might give you headaches but this park is a blast when you have friends or smth

I'm a coaster and enthusiast, moving to Colorado in the next year or so. What other decently nearby options are there?(like within an 8 hour drive)

My top 6 1. Sidewinder (great airtime and fun when open) 2.Boomerang (smooth and fun) 3. Twister III (better with new trains, hated the old trains) 4. Half pipe (hardly ever open but fun when it is) 5. Mind eraser (absolutely piece of sh*t) 6. Blazer Buckaroo (good for people looking for something not to thrilling)

In her defense my first time on this ride scared the fuck out of me 😅

Had a great season this year! Glad they gave us another weekend!

Sidewinder opened in 1990 not 1980. I know that because when I visited Denver that year they were advertising Sidewinder as their premier rollercoaster at their previous location. And let me say that the previous location was much better than their new location. Elitch Gardens now sucks, but the old location was way better and much more shadier on a hot summer day.

This is my favorite park, so I don't really appreciate the hate on it, but the ranking is cool👍

If you go at ten you will be in a pretty long line, I like to get there at 8-9 ish and even then there is still some people. With tickets, if you go often I recommend a season pass most ticket are 60-70 bucks and a season pass was like 80 so it was only ten more dollars, it will be 80 Chase of taxes but the site says 75. For rides, in this video its now even thought of yet, but one of my favorites is twister 3 that just opened. I've only gone once and it is so fun, they made like a bigger drop and a longer tunnel and maybe some more but idk.

Im going sometime this week. Im from Nashville so my homepark is Dollywood but im in colorado to visit family for a bit! Im excited. I hear really bad things about Elitch Gardens but i think it shouldnt be to bad because its just an older park :) you need more subscribers 🥲

I think an edit you could do on that ranking video on Elitch gardens is adding a warning label just like the nathaniel bandy triggered series "warning! The follow video is over exaggerated. MOST opinions shared aren't accurate to my thoughts and feelings" or some other ideas for a viewer discretion to for that video
