Loved your video! My husband and I are travelling to Denver by train from Salt Lake City and back. Thank you for sharing what a one-day tour can be full of fun and enjoyment.
Visited Denver in August for a possible relocation scouting mission & happened to go to the same Snooze & Water Grill as well as the Capital Hill District & Union Station. I echo all your sentiments about the location. Fell in love with the area from the moment I arrived & am moving there in April. Appreciate the post & will be subscribing for more Colorado content. Thank you!
Wonderful! That's so great to hear you had the same great experience. It truly is a gem, we loved Downtown and can't wait to go back. Wishing you all the best on your move!! You'll love it here. Thanks for watching!!
I've been in Denver 25years and have seen lots of changes, mostly for the better. The only problem I have now is places like the 16th Street Mall have become havens for raucous panhandlers. But when I consider the history that goes way before me, it kind of always has been that way. It's just very pronounced now. Other than I think it's a very cool city.
Yes, I definitely noticed that when we were there. We just tried to blend into bigger groups of people and keep walking and that seemed to work out. It is such a beautiful city otherwise, one of our favorites.
I visited recently. What bothered me was the parking. On the streets it runs till 9pm when it should be till 6 pm. Also it’s also for two hours when it should be for three. There were a lot of homeless but they didn’t bother us.
Howdy Mrs. Jeanie and hubby. Yall make me want to go see some cool things and stuff my face with awesome food. Keep it up guys! Thank you for sharing these spots with us.
I love your channel so much! My family and I are relocating to Boulder County in a few days and your videos have gotten us really excited about our new chapter in Colorado! Thank you and I look forward to seeing and learning from your future adventures! :)
I lived in between Denver and Co Springs for a couple years and Snooze, Early Bird Restaurant at the Landmark (in DTC), and Illegal Pete’s are 100% my favorite food stops. And of course, Insomnia Cookies. Soooooo good! I seriously miss living in Colorado so much but moved for a different job.
I remember Union Station there! Such a beautiful place! A champagne bar?! I need to try one of those places!! 😅 yum! 😋💕 The Hotel you stayed in looks really cool!!
Union Station is so beautiful! And yes, Corridor 44 champagne bar was excellent 🍾 we loved the CatBird Hotel! Such a great day! Thanks so much for watching!
I'm a fourth generation Denver native and proud to be! I've seen many changes in my 50 years but still like to explore all the new restaurants and bars. I live in Capitol Hill and work downtown Denver. I've heard of all the places you went to but hadn't seen them up close but now I'm definitely going to check them out! So thank you for doing the footwork!! 😊. You have just the perfect demeanor and are such a well-spoken young lady. Look forward to seeing more of your content and happy to follow you ☺️
Ahh! Thank you so much for the kind words. I appreciate it. You definitely must go explore Denver closer up...we loved it so much. So much to do and see. You'll enjoy it. Thanks so much for watching!
I’m always struggling to come up with ideas of what to do around town and in the mountains. Even after being in Denver over a year. Your videos have been some of the best for giving me ideas. I like the day trip style videos. Also if you like sushi and haven’t tried temaki den, highly recommend. I prefer it over uchi and matsuhisa’s sushi. It’s under the same ownership as sushi den and izakaya den. To my understanding 2 brothers own the restaurants. One lives in Japan and sends fresh fish daily and the other manages the restaurants here in town. Also, blue island oyster bar always has amazing oysters! Definitely gonna try the seafood place y’all went to
Thank you so much for the feedback and recommendations! We LOVE sushi, so I'll definitely keep those in mind for our next visit. Thank you! I appreciate you being here and following along, glad you find my vlogs helpful. Thanks for watching!

Hi there, I just found your Colorado videos yesterday and they've been so helpful for my partner and I who are seriously considering a movie to Colorado (we have a trip planned for the next month to visit Boulder and Denver). I see that you just moved to Arizona and I'm wondering if you changed your mind on CO for a specific reason or if something led you guys out? Would love to hear this story, I haven't watched your recent videos if you explained it !
Thanks for the video and the hotel you stayed. It was really cool I almost decided to change my booking to go to that hotel but I think I’m just gonna stay where I’m at. I wanna head and booked a room at the Hyatt centric by the Union Station downtown. I will be coming November 2 on a Thursday and leaving Saturday. I will be seeing Deadmau5 show at Red Rocks on Friday. I’ve never been to Denver. I’m flying in from Phoenix, Arizona, and I will be taking the light rail to the union station, walking down to my hotel. We will be having a shuttle pick us up at one of the local bars to take us to the venue and back. Other than that I would like to check out some vegetarian restaurants and maybe some shopping at some cool shops and some art maybe a museum I’m still looking at things, but thank you.
I intend to visit Denver for 4 days probably on April 18, 2023. I will be staying in courtyard cherry creek denver and it is my first visit. I am coming from Canada and a senior citizen. We are visiting this fall for a nephew's wedding. We have one day in Denver before heading to Loveland. I enjoyed your videos. We will have a car. We'd like to try some of the places you mentioned. How is the parking?
Thank you for sharing this video. You're very lovely to watch. Though I need to ask What bag did you use for this trip? Have you tried using a duffle bag for your travel? I recommend using the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane. I've been using this bag for months now and it is such a hack. I tried using packing cubes and they are amazing but now I switched to a duffle bag. Tried Nomad Lane's Bento bag and it's a good choice.
I had a great time in Denver! Although they had a snowstorm that Thursday! The city did wonderfully by cleaning it up quickly and the scenery was gorgeous
Jeanie Marie: As always, you gave a superb performance in this enlightening expose of downtown Denver. You covered the best of the best while totally avoiding the ugly underbelly of the vile homeless encampments. KUDOS! WELL DONE!...I kinda missed seeing Ozzy in this one. But thinking about it, I'm sure he would have had his "fluff" instantly electrified & standing-on-end had you taken him inside the Marquis club while that band was blasting away!🙀🤣🤣🤣...By the way, where was Ozzy spending his time while you were shooting in downtown Denver? Is he visibly "happy" when you & Vince rejoin him?🤔
Thanks so much! We loved exploring downtown! Definitely want to go back again! Yes, I don't think Ozzy is a city cat! 😅 No Denver sdventures for him. He gets to chill at home safe and sound enjoying his cat naps and watching the birds from the window. We have an inside camera set up so we can watch him! 🤗🐈

I'm curious.. How would the people of Denver feel if the Mayor had told people that she was going to help the children by teaching them life skills and job training then took them out on the streets and told them that when the light turns red they need to run up and start washing the windshield? Seriously. I live in a city where this really happened. Just wondering if people there would not expect more from a Mayor
