Thank you so freakin much! I just purchased a '09 h3t yesterday. I'm planning on upgrading the lighting. You answered all my questions in one video. That's absolutely amazing. I tipped my hat to Sir! Thank you for all that you have done.
Hi, I know this video was made years ago but I just bought these headlights and I’m ready to install them on my car but I cannot find or company who has the brackets and parts that are needed for the headlights. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.!
Dang man I just got mine in and they came out with a gen 3 design now, no more plastic, the ring adapters are metal. Pretty cool that they keep progressing with updated/improved parts. I’ll have to post a video once I get the headlights in for the install. Cheers!
I installed Hikari ACME-X LEDs that I bought off of Amazon. Best LEDs you can buy right now in my opinion. They have the driver and fan built in and are very bright and white. Huge difference from the halogen. Of course you have to adjust the lights after you install. Haven't had anyone flicker their lights at me yet, so I think I'm good. And they make the H3 look like a new model!
Yeah my apologies I didn't cover it in the original headlight install video. Between the two videos, it was about 1 hr worth of content and I had so many other things I was focusing on covering, that I overlooked that aspect.
I bought the sunpie led headlights and foglights along with the lased designs adapters shortly after your first tutorial video. I bought the polarity converters as well. All of the adapters were pretty cheap and didn’t have very good connections so I cut them off and crimped the wires and I haven’t had any problems with the lights themselves. The only problem I’ve had was that both the foglight adapters have broken after a few months. I have Jerry rigged a solution with zip ties instead of buying new ones though lol.
Glad you are liking the headlights! How have the foglights broken? I have had mine on for over a year now where they saw extremely hot and cold weather and have had 0 problems with them.
@@4lowmode On the 3d printed foglight adapters, it’s the part with just the little cylindrical piece that holds it in that broke on both of them. It was just the force of mudding and going through ditches that broke the somewhat thin round piece in the middle of it. I didn’t feel like buying another set though. They still occasionally fall out when I go over a speed bump lol.

I have a plan to change the headlight to US spec but there is a problem our H3 headlight H4 bulb is used and it can be raised and lowered through main headlight switch electrically so the main headlight switch is efferent
Good morning from Saudi Arabia. I was wondering if I could get your advice mate? I bought the American spec headlights and purchased 2 American spec harnesses to fit the 7” led headlights. I have led front indicators and side markers too. The issue I’m finding is that the headlights will not go into high beam and now that I’ve connected it all up my side markers will not work at all. The dipped headlights work fine as do the front LED indicators. Not sure what’s going on. I think maybe there is a wiring difference between the non US and the US versions. I might need to find wiring diagrams for both.
It could be that the wiring is different. Again, like I said, I am not 100% sure if everything will work right because I haven't tested it myself. As far as the high beams not working, are you using the polarity converter harness? Either method 1 or 2? If not, the high beams won't work. If the side markers aren't working you might have to tap into another wire to get them to work. Thanks for sharing, and let me know how it turns out!
Yeah I’ll get some polarity converters in order :) I will do some fault finding on the side markers and will let you know how it goes. The US spec headlight housing fits on without issue and I had no trouble fitting the 7” LED lights and LED indicators, all works fine and I’m happy that the high beam will work with polarity converters. Will let you know how it goes with the side markers. Thanks mate.
It's not the same subject but I need some advice from you. I blew the light rack off the top of my 07 hummer all of the Orange lights are gone and the piece of plastic that's 3' long that fits on there is going to. Can you tell me where to get one
Oh yes those are the roof marker lights. I have those too. They are pretty difficult to find but it can be done. There are 2 ways to get them. First way is to wait until somebody lists them on craigslist or ebay for around $1000 but that is ridiculous. The other better, but more time consuming way you can find them for a reasonable price ($70-$300) is by searching through eBay part out companies. On eBay there are tons of sellers that make entire businesses out of selling used parts online because they are usually cheaper than new parts and some parts you can no longer buy new. What you need to do is search for hummer h3 used parts on eBay. The thing is, there is not just going to be a specific listing for these roof marker lights where you can easily just buy them outright. You need to scroll through like 10-20 pages of used H3 parts. What ebay sellers do often times is just make listings for different parts and just use the same wide angle shots of the parted out H3. Say for example a seller is selling an upper control arm. Sometimes sellers don’t have time to take pictures of every single little part because that would take way too long to do. So instead, they make a listing saying they are selling a upper control arm, but the listing pictures show wide angle pictures of the H3 from the front, side, back, and a few interior shots. If you come across a listing where a ebay seller is selling something like say an upper control arm, but you can clearly see in the picture that the H3 they are parting out has roof marker lights on it, go ahead a message them. Say something to the effect of “Hello there I see you are parting out a (Insert Color) (Insert Model Year) H3. I was wondering if you have that plastic trim piece with the orange lights on it that is above the front windshield.” If you want to get more specific, add am attachment image to the picture of what it looks like. Some ebay sellers are really lazy so you have to be specific. If you want anything else that goes with the marker lights you have to mention it like the little cap covers. Say you also want the a pillar covers on the ends that also have the marker lights on it, you have to mention it. Also you have to mention if you want the light harness as well because some of them are lazy. Its best if you can go on their ebay storefront and google their business and give them a call so you can confirm everything. If they don’t have phone number, messaging them through eBay still works, but I would be very specific and include pictures of exactly what you want. Hopefully this helps. This is what I had to do get the marker lights I have on my H3 and I have done it a couple other times in the past too. I my marker lights for like $150 so it was worth the trouble. Hope this helps!

So cool to see the one from Switzerland now is mine I just bought it in November, i’m planning to change the headlights for a led version I’ll send maybe some pictures! Anyway I have a question, if I want to open the current headlights to change the small bulb, is this possible to do it without breaking the transparent plastic? As well I would like to clean the interior! Thanks in advance you make a very good work with your very detailed videos!
To replace the headlight bulb, you can take it out from the back of the headlight and put in a new one. In regards to opening up the headlights, you can technically take the plastic lens off the headlight reflector housing, but it is by no means easy and it really should only be done by professional headlight retrofitters. In order to take it off, the headlights need to be placed in an oven for a certain amount of time so the adhesive material holding the plastic lens cover in place will start to loosen and then the lens can be taken off. Once it is time to put the plastic lens back on, it needs to be sealed up properly using the right material or it will constantly get water and moisture in it. Personally, I would not reccomend trying to take the plastic lens off from the headlight reflector housing. This is one of those things you really need to know how to do correctly or it will turn out bad. I have never done it before myself and I don't want to either lol.
@@4lowmode Thank you very much Ace! Very appreciate, the bulb I’m talking about is the small one which doesn’t have access on the back of the headlight.

If you just google hummer h3 led tail lights there a couple different styles you can choose from. They are sold on different websites like eBay, amazon, etc.
Auxbeam sells a pretty good combo on amazon. Whatever you go with, I would just highly reccomend you buy the headlights and foglights as a combo instead of buying them individually because all 4 lights will work off of one bluetooth module. If you buy them separately, you are going to have 2 bluetooth modules.
Either you didn't use a one of the polarity converters mentioned in the video or the pins for the high beam wires have fallen out of the plugs on either the h13 to h4 adapters or polarity converter harness.
Can anyone tell me why does the driver side rgb led headlight that when you change the colors everything syncs up on the colors for the passenger side headlight & the fog lights color, but the driver side headlight colors are different. Like just say if I pick Red the passenger side headlight & both the fog lights are red, but the driver side headlight is blue. When I disconnect the polarity converter all 4 sync up, but when I plug it back in the driver side headlight is a different color from the rest. I swapped the drivers side headlight that was doing that & hooked it up to the passenger side & synced up & took the passenger side on that was working fine hooked it up & now that headlight didn't sync up so not the headlights. Swapped polarity converter that didn't take care of the issue & swapped the H4 to H13 adapters & that didn't work either. Changed around the black bluetooth wire connector to each headlight & that didn't work either. I am stumbed! They all sync up fine all plugged into the bluetooth controller until & the passenger side headlight plugged into the polarity converter, but as soon as I hook up the led headlight on the drivers side to the bluetooth controller all 4 work fine synced right & then when I plug in the 3 prong on either headlight so I have headlights is when the drivers side demon headlight colors are different patterns from the other 3. Anyone else have that issue?
Why does Lasid designs takes so long to deliver ? I’m going on 4 months since I placed the order and no email they never get back to you to even let people know there working on your order like wtf.. oooh but they do take your money.
I am sorry to hear that man. Yeah lased designs is unreliable af these days. I have talked to him multiple, multiple times about getting better with communication.
A shame that you have to act as a goodwill ambassador for Lased Designs, since they don't answer the mail. I bought their adapters, surrounds and seat back clips and I'm pretty happy overall, but did have a problem with a manufacturing defect in the surround. I reached out through their web contact, but got crickets in return. So, if you need to get a hold of them for anything all I can say is good luck getting anything other than your order confirmation. Apparently, they don't reply to email, unless its to take your money.
Yeah I get your frustrations. As of now lased designs is just a 1 man operation. I've talked to the guy before, and he seems pretty cool, but that's about it. For whatever reason there are periods where he doesn't answer messages. Even from me. I am guessing this is just a side gig right now.
Anybody ever upgrade the original radio antenna? My daughters H3 broke after taking it through the car wash (snapped off). I would like to actually upgrade the look and profile etc if possible If anyone has done this please let me know. Thanks
Haha yeah sorry about that man. What really slows him down is just how long it takes to complete prints. About 24 hrs for one headlight adapter from what he has said.
They are not just jeep headlights, these are a universal standard size headlight that have been used for decades. You can find 7in sized headlights on classic cars, cargo trucks, sports cars, busses, buggies, military vehicles etc. In fact, the original Humvee, the Hummer H1, and Hummer H2 have 7in headlights from the factory and you can easily swap in these new LED 7in headlights. Yes, Jeeps also use 7in headlights, but they are not the only vehicle to do so. I only put Jeep in the title to make the video more appealing and to cater to the youtube search algorithm.

Thanks
Yeah super easy to replace the antenna. Just go on Amazon. There are a few difference sizes on there.
@@4lowmode It actually snapped off at the base where it attaches to the fender so it’s not just the screw on portion.
everything is sold out :/
Always out of stock. One day I'll hit the jackpot.
Haha yeah sorry about that man. What really slows him down is just how long it takes to complete prints. About 24 hrs for one headlight adapter from what he has said.
@@4lowmode I'm a patient man.
Go NOW, they just came back in stock
Why would I want Jeep parts on my Hummer?
They are not just jeep headlights, these are a universal standard size headlight that have been used for decades. You can find 7in sized headlights on classic cars, cargo trucks, sports cars, busses, buggies, military vehicles etc. In fact, the original Humvee, the Hummer H1, and Hummer H2 have 7in headlights from the factory and you can easily swap in these new LED 7in headlights. Yes, Jeeps also use 7in headlights, but they are not the only vehicle to do so. I only put Jeep in the title to make the video more appealing and to cater to the youtube search algorithm.
Есть целых три вида фар на hummer h3, американские, африканские(хром) и калининградские. В версии калининграда, идут американские фары, но они переделаны под установку ксенона они очень сильно изменены с внутренней стороны и стоит линза.
Your hands jerkings are distracting me lol IDK y ..but good info
Hot damn the surrounds are sold out
Yeah they are currently sold out. Hopefully they will be back in stock soon!
best bet is to check Lased designs every day... I've noticed items will show up and sell out the same day
@@SodBuster642 Yeah it sucks, but thats how they keep shorter shipping times.
everyone hungers for the Surrounds
