These Hummer meetings are awesome, no matter where in the world you are they happen and it's always a good opportunity to meet new people. The Hummer community is actually great!
Was awesome seeing you guys again. It was certainly fun before the break 😅. Thanks for hanging behind to make sure everything was good. Sorry you couldn’t make it to the Top because of me.
@@nicot2436 yeah. I was lucky it happened on the trail and not on the highway. That plate was held on by 2” of weld. The rest had rusted over time apparently.
@@nicot2436 yeah. It was totally my fault. I knew the leaf plate I had was a multi piece one. Schwarttzy sent me a one piece on after he found out the manufacturer was cutting corners and welding several pieces. But I was too lazy to change them out. They’ve been sitting in my garage for a few years. Can’t blame anyone but myself.
Awe love watching these type videos my hummer is 15 we bern together since day 1 had it in the snow that’s about it. It’s a beast. Thanks for sharing 👍
Really awesome Video again. The long time really Shows how much work and effort you put into making it and for me I always learn sth, never gets boring. Great content good luck
Great to see your rig in Offroad mode, without the overlander gear! Great video, nice to see the all together in Moab! Greetings from the Netherlands. Keep the video’s coming 👍✌️💪🇳🇱❤️🇺🇸
@@TsarTrail I will start my new company next month, hope it will bring me good times for 2021. Here in the Netherlands the shops will open again after 6 month being closed!!!!! Only the food shops were open. From the 19 million people, 5 million people have received the vaccin, in the coming 3 months all 19 million people will have a received the vaccin. So I hope the boarders will soon be open to travel.
Nice rigs! I've converted a couple of Vans for overlanding like my Astro van, now I'm in a Chevy Express about to get it lifted and put a new suspension on it
Awesome video I really enjoy watching all your videos I can't wait till I get everything I need to do my v8 and solid front axle conversion because then me and my family are going to drive from our home in Pennsylvania to the moab dessert
Great video. I am from Colorado Springs and have been a Jeep owner and fan, mainly built Grand Cherokees but bought a H3 Alpha recently because I’m kinda tired of the unreliability if Jeeps and now two videos of yours I watched there have been mechanical problems lol. I look forward to the challenges of building something different and seeing what all this H3 can do. I stopped do the extreme trails and the wife and I enjoy the more scenic trails so I feel this will be a great fit. We also do most trails solo but do enjoy company every now and than, maybe someday we will see you out on a trail in Colorado.
The only mechanical issue we have had was an exposed wire that blow a fuse on the fuel pump. Same problem on two trails it just took us a while to diagnose. Other than that is has been very mechanically sound. It’s been a blast to take on all kinds of trails. The H3 that broke down on this trail was so to an after market product that had defective welds. You’ve built up vehicles so you know that sometimes upgrades don’t go exactly as planned. It would be great to see another H3 on the trails.
@@TsarTrail well I seen the video with the fuel pump problems you had and the one with the other hummer and the rear shock bracket and of course several with tie rods. All easy fix’s except the fuel pump on the trail of course, that turned out to be a wire that got chaffed?
Did y’all have any 5 cylinder H3’s? Or are the all Alphas? I’ve got a 2008 H3. Wonder if the 3.7 would have enough grunt to turn 35 inch tires. What size tires did most folks run out there? 35’s? Or 37’s? Always enjoy yalls adventures.
Love your channel. Nice relaxt good quality videos. Not the over hyper stuff sometimes be seen. Do you know or have info about the bright yellow Hummer buggy?
Awesome video. I'm watching it a second time. I would love to be there next year. Maybe you can tell us about next year's date early enough that we can get there. Is it always in April. Thanks for the video.
Thank you. Yes it is each year in April. We will post this as next year's dates are set. Also, we are in the process of helping plan a Colorado hummer trail rally. Might be in June. We will post info.
That steering rack is 900plus fix. Mine needs to be replaced as well. This was amazing video. Did you even have to switch to 4x4 high or low. Or were you able to do majority of that in regular mode
I’m looking at picking up an h3 it’s just me the girl and 2 medium dogs but I can’t decide if the i5 is enough or need the alpha not to mention they have like 80k miles on them and are 14 years old .
I really can't say much about the I5. But 80k on the 5.3 is nothing. I know of several guys with over 300k and their 5.3 still runs great. Our Alpha has over 150k and still runs perfect. The 5.3 is considered to have great longevity. Hope you find a nice one either way you go.
Contrats on the H3. Currently there are no lift kits available. There is a small company working on a redo of the Rancho h3 lift kit. SHWARTZY has some cool products to help increase ground clearance along with rock Sliders and skid plates. There are some guys on the forums that have retro fitted parts to lift their H3's. There are option out there but most require a little creativity to make it work its best.
Did you find it weird to be in a group wheeling since normally you guys run solo? I'm always solo too and I think I wouldn't like it too much to be with a huge group. Yours wasn't so big so probably wasn't bad but I've seen where most of the day is just wasted by waiting around when groups get large. Nice episode. Your daughter loving the bumpy road on the way down is hilarious 😂😆.

When your friend does the solid axle swap I’ll take the rancho lift off his hands:). I could use it for my Chevy Colorado I’m putting H3 suspension on.
@@TsarTrail I have a 2010 Colorado. The H3 suspension bolts right up. Each time I need to change rotors on mine the hub has to come off. As it is a captive rotor on the back of the hub. The H3 suspension will give me a wider stance and more travel.
Surprised someone did not try welding out there. .three batteries. .jumper cables and a welding rod or two and back in business! !..ps..always carry welding rods !!!
