the question was how often these episodes were happening and for how long. beyond his wife and his inner circle, nobody knew. Biden always stuttered and said awkward stuff, and is old, etc. this is something else
@@cacomandro There had been a bunch of gaffes, but (1) Biden has always been deeply weird, and (2) he hasn't been a clear speaker for a long time now. But honestly, I didn't think it was as bad as all that till the debate. I should have known that they were indeed hiding him on purpose. But he hid in his basement in 2020, and he was fine then.

I do too - BUT, as an expert in the field, I have seen no symptoms of mental decline in Biden. I have seen pronounced stutter and shock at dealing with a lying debate opponent and I have seen Parkinson's symptoms of stiffness, soft voice, and slowness but zero symptoms of dementia. Everyone gets old. I thought my parents were going to be here forever, but my mom passed in February from Alzheimer's. Watching all this has been painful for me because my mom had the same symptoms. She had falls, lapses, wasnt good before 11am or after 5pm. According to my observations, Biden has about 6 months left, even with the best care. He needs to resign and go enjoy the beach and relax.

I heard a stat a while ago that at the same point of their presidencies, Obama had made 400 live appearances and Biden only 80. So the idea that Biden is overworked is absurd.

@@bretts6861 if this was actually a mark of a good president, or encompassed the bulk of their job (which it doesn’t), then in Biden’s first three years, he has given far more press briefings than the 4 previous presidents: Clinton 793, GWBush 566, Obama 720, Trump 318, Biden 929. He is has given more solo press conferences than the following recent-ish presidents in their first three years: Trump, George W. Bush, Ronald Reagan and Nixon. Interestingly, Biden has had more than double “other” exchanges with reporters in his first three years than Obama’s entire 8 years. This type of exchange with reporters typically happens incidentally alongside some other meeting or event. These are often while the President is moving from one location to another and pauses to spontaneously take questions from reporters (for example, as he is walking to the helicopter), so there is no teleprompter or script, and he is improvising. There have been 426 as of July 9th. Have you watched most of these? Also, Biden also answered on average 29 questions per news conference compared to clinton’s 17.7 and Obama’s 17.8. The median question lengths have been more than double the characters of the questions trump received and Biden’s answers have been 2.63 times longer (in characters - and compare the transcripts of the 2, Trumps are filled with filler words, meandering, bragging…and he rarely answers the questions, whereas Biden’s are direct and answer the questions.) I could go on.
I heard someone else mention this, but I think it bears repeating. Biden is like your grandparent who refuses to give up their keys, even when it is completely obvious they should no longer be on the road. My Grandpa was one of these people. He couldn’t see well enough to drive, however, was uber stubborn, and would not give up his license. My Grandma used to have to pinch his leg just to get him to stop at red lights and stop signs. Both what Biden is doing and my Grandfather did were dangerous and stupid. My Grandpa could have killed someone, and Biden could destroy our country with their stubbornness. Also, just like my Grandma, Jill Biden and his staff, they were and are all enabling the situation! It is frustrating!!

A neurologist specialising in Parkinson's said one of the symptoms is paranoia and another is belligerence. This is why they think you are conspiring against them to take the keys of them and why they adamantly refuse to give them up.

Hunter needs his dad to stay in office if he's hoping for a pardon after he gets sentenced.
Hunter was already found guilty, surely the sentencing wouldn’t take more than half a year? Then the timing would be perfect for if Biden was leaving office in January and pardoned Hunter as he left, he would barely need to serve any time.
If Biden was reelected, isn’t it standard to do the pardons at the end of the term, so Hunter may end up having to wait 4 years (or just serve the entire sentence if it’s short enough)? Also, given his age/health, Biden may not live to the end of his term and so may not pardon Hunter at all.

My Dad is 84, and will be 85 this year. He came to visit my house in February and HAD to regularly climb 14 stairs to the restroom multiple times a day. He did it on his own. I walked behind him just in case, but he did then like a champ. He is up every day at 5am and goes to bed around 10 or so. He is quite capable of a lot of things. My Dad is one of the sharpest people i know, recalling trips we've taken together and exact miles between towns and many details. I do have a lot of faith that my Dad is quite capable of running the country. HOWEVER, the regular amount of stress and lack of sleep would take it's toll on him eventually. I don't see joeyB as being capable at this point. Whatever vitality has run it's course. People saying he's a moral man, but if he's assisting in "unaliving" innocent Palestinians, how can he be moral? We have the absolute worst choices pushed upon us right now. I won't divide the vote tho... So unless somehow Cenk, Bernie, Nina, is on the ticket then IDK I'll have to vote for joe. If i could see that Marianne Williamson or Dean appears to be moving up, I would consider them too. I see we have some good choices just not in chump or joeyB.

It is reassuring to know that there are still people on the left that are willing to be realistic. So tied if the “I’ll vote for Biden as long as they can prop him up”. It is okay to not vote Republican or Democrat, and still have a reasonable voice.

Anyone with half a brain and unbias can see the night and day diffrence between rump and Biden when it comes to mental accuity. Heck, anyone with half a brain ( more than what Joe has) , can see the difference that a tomato has a better chance of not screwing up world affairs than Biden.
I see it a bit differently. Why would the Dems choose to back themselves into a potential last minute change up? Walking gingerly or stuttering on words are not reasons to think your president has lost it, but not being able to string three or four sentences together is, and that’s what happened at the debate, so I think that the Dem leadership was absolutely shocked over his condition compared to 2020. No cover up- just national exposure in the worst possible way.

There is nothing wrong with being ageist. It is actually a NATURAL response to your elders. The same reasons why you shouldn't allow a 3 year old to be President of the United States is why you shouldn't allow someone too old to do certain jobs. I am sure some 3 year olds can listen to their advisors too, but they shouldn't be president for a reason.

@dlxinfinite7098 Sorry, last I checked, we ALL don't allow people who are too old to drive, to keep on driving. That's not a ME thing, that's a natural societal response to someone who's age is compromising their ability to perform a function that becomes dangerous if you aren't fit enough to perform them. The presidency is no different. If anything is against, it's the fact that they, FOR NO ACTUAL PROVABLY GOOD REASON, still won't allow someone who is a legal adult, but under the age of 35, to run for president. That's actually ageist bc there is no actual benefit to making a person wait until they are 35. There are more reasons why it makes MORE sense that someone of someone over the age of 80, shouldn't be allowed to run for President or at the very least, should have to pass certain public tests to demonstrate competency, than why a 20 - 34 year can't run for President. They can run for the House & the Senate, and if they have their law license and can win elections, they can be elected to be a Judge and work their way up to the Supreme Court if they were able too (although that's more unlikely than any other scenario), but they can't run for President. That's ageist. Exceptions can be made to the rule for someone over the age of 80, if bipartisan and very public parameters are put into place that forces candidates above 80 to prove that they are still mentally fit to perform the duties of the office for ALL offices in Government, where they can pass, publicly the test administered to determine competent cognitive functioning. But it shouldn't be a you can serve no matter how old or provably incompetent you are just because you are the incumbent and yet are still the lesser of two evils.
