@@GJLCreativeStudios Well we could have seen another Democratic primary where they heavy handedly force another establishment candidate through in like 4 weeks and make themselves seem even less democratic. Or you we could see Biden cling to power until the last minute and try to contest the results of the election as he becomes more and more like Trump, losing the house, senate and presidency in the process. Or the actual messiest scenario, he dies just a week or two before or after the election and Kamala has a completely undemocratic rise to power. Let's not even think about the situation where Biden wins and continues his presidency as basically a vegetable. This was not the ideal way to step down, but it obviously could have been a lot worse, as evidenced by the fact that things are actually going well now for the Democrats as a result.

Biden has been a political puppet all his life; a lifetime politician. In the beginning, many of us thought he was a Democrat standard bearer, but as time went on, we saw what he was really about as he ascended into the Whitehouse. Everything he has ever said from that point on was a contradiction in terms and a contradiction of what he originally held as American policy in government. You can't sit back and just watch as your own people get trampled underfoot and call yourself an American, let alone say that you upold the principles of the US Constitution.

That debate - as terrible as it was - only proves that Biden, the world's most powerful President, is still human. He knew what was at stake: democracy, peace, prosperity and humanity. Knowing this, I can imagine on how big the pressure was already for him, so I am sure it made him nervous. Bad preparations and his illness (Biden has an illness, that causes him the lack of ability of speaking) did not help either. Despite his flaws however, I still believe that Biden did more for the country than Trump did during the latter's time in Office. Action speaks louder than words, remember that. The fact that Biden decided to step down (mostly forced by others) from Office, also proves that he thinks about his people first, rather than himself, which takes great courage, unlike Trump, who would never step down, even if the people wanted that way...
I personally don't understand what Ana's deal is. Trump is a convicted felon, and she is suddenly attacking Biden for over a month now. Why? It is like this channel suddenly became a pro-Trump channel or something. It feels that way, to me at least.

I know Cenk is aware of what’s truly going on. The TYT audience simply won’t let him speak his mind. Some people just don't understand that progress is slow, they want radical changes overnight that will never happen. It's not bad to want those things, but it's unrealistic when they expect them to happen and see slow progress as bad. Better is still better.

I'm not convinced he did the "right thing." I am convinced he was forced out by the Democratic establishment and realized as bad as he already looks, he would have looked even worse if he lost to Trump, especially after bragging about defeating him. The "right thing" would have been leaving months or years ago before the debate disaster, or keeping his word on the $15 minimum wage.

I can understand about his failure regarding the border and the Gaza situation but overall it was not a bad president even the policies that he did put through it did help.
