Learn the basics of isometric design using isometric actions and the 3d effects panel in adobe illustrator cc 2024.
In this video I will teach you how to create actions in order to improve your workflow when creating isometric design art. You won't need any grids for this tutorial which will allow you to be even more creative. You will also learn how to use the 3d effect classic panel! You will see how to create a cute vibrant isometric tv illustration using shapes, pen tool, shape builder, colouring with the live paint bucket tool and the pathfinder!
Note* This is my personal way of working and by no means the best nor the only way to create illustrations. If you don't understand certain parts of the video, let me know in the comments below and I'll glady help you out!

I have 2 questions:
1. Why do we scale the original?
2. I'm considering adding reset bounding box to the actions; is there a reason to keep the original bounding box?

I don't understand why my squares wouldn't connect on the first exercise. My ISO Right seems to be longer
