Just replaced mine and it fixed that issue completely, so thanks for the advice, you saved me a lot of money. I found that removing the 10MM bolt first and pulling the sensor out allows you to maneuver things around enough to safely remove the connector from the sensor without damaging anything 😊
I just had this happen to me but there was no shifting issues so when the code was checked by the mechanic. I read the O2 sensor was not functioning. A replacement was not needed for this fix. With more details of the computer read it was discovered there was nothing being ready from one of them. All that was needed was a ground wire had come off the wire on the Sensor side after the plug. This was an easy fix and I hope this help with troubleshooting your problem. Check the O2 sensors before just replacing them.
I have the same issue on my 2012 Toyota Tundra trac off, check engine and 4Lo flashing. But when I did the OB2 scanner came up p0113, Maf sensor problem. But I also changed my gas cap, cleaned the Maf sensor with CRC mass air flow sensor cleaner. All lights turned off, but couple days later came back on.
Turner did the replacement work on turning off the three lights. My friend has the same truck and spent thousands with mechanics. The problem still exists
nice to meet you. I ride TUNDRA in Japan. I had the same symptoms as you and found this channel while searching. Please tell me the replacement product number.
My 2012 4.6L v8 Toyota tundra is having the same issue with (traction control) (4Low blinking) and transmission doesn’t want to shift out of 3rd gear. There are codes but none that relate to my problem. Do you think this fix will help?
How did you found out that was the issue I have a 2013 tundra and has the traction control (steady light) and 4hi (flashing) but when i connect a code reader shows not codes
It just happed to me today and I was mad as a wet set hen. I just purchased the truck 3 months ago. and I was reeling. I hope this fixes my issue thank you before and after.
I been having the same problem I just disconnected battery cable and reconnected battery and all the lights went back to normal. Then a couple days later same thing happened so I don’t have a scanner but this sounds like this could be the problem. Thank you
I just went through the exact same thing and this fixed the issue . However , I could not get the new censor all the way in . I can still see the little rubber gasket . Am I in trouble ?

Were you getting a misfire too?
This just helped my boyfriend fix his 2011 truck. Thank you!
@@WitchyFitspo happy to help in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ
Replaced mine with a $20 Amazon sensor. Still going strong. Also only going to put so much money into a 310k mile vehicle 😅.
what sensor did ya get from amazon?
@@rongapsis547 transmission speed sensor, I think it's also called the output speed sensor.
@@bluesheep2021I’m getting a misfire too. Were you getting a misfire?
@@scottgarvy I was not. At idle everything was fine.

Read codes again, if maf sensor code again replace the sensor.
I’m having the same issue randomly. My truck is in limp mode or some shit. So frustrating

Did u fix it. Have some issue
Did you get any misfiring cylinders?
How did you found out that was the issue
I have a 2013 tundra and has the traction control (steady light) and 4hi (flashing) but when i connect a code reader shows not codes
You might need a better scan tool to read it. Unless you have a stuck actuator and it’s not throwing a code
It just happed to me today and I was mad as a wet set hen. I just purchased the truck 3 months ago. and I was reeling. I hope this fixes my issue thank you before and after.
Just scan it to see codes and check ground straps as well
Just wondering if I need to replace my because sometimes it's fletching sometimes not
I'm getting the same codes plus misfire on cylinder 4. Were you getting a misfire?
I’m not getting no codes but getting all the Christmas tree lights. Prior I changed the pressure solenoid D.
At 2:09 time in video. Their is a flat gray wire. What is that wire? Mine is cut and looks like a grounding wire maybe?
Yes ground. Can cause same lights to come on and off. Toyotas will do some crazy stuff with vsc code
@@dtmxing you happen to know the part number for that wire by chance?

It could be but have someone scan it before wasting money on guessing
I looked up the part on Napa, and it says it's a "Transmission Input Sensor". Is that correct?
Part #vss1104?
There are two speed sensors. Input and output correct?
Yes
Was your truck throw a code for this?
@@danh8602 yes it did, it said it was the transmission speed sensor on my autel maxicom unit

Yes. 100%

Came out of no where and went into limo mode with the lights flashing. The boy code was for the speed sensor
So when change the speed sensor ,your truck gets fixed when your truck was going in third??
Yes this fixed my truck
@dtmxing were you getting any misfires?
I just went through the exact same thing and this fixed the issue . However , I could not get the new censor all the way in . I can still see the little rubber gasket . Am I in trouble ?
Its like half of the gasket is still visible. It looks like it should go in another 1/8th of an inch .
Did you get the old o ring out ?
Just did this fix to my truck. Still doing the same exact thing. NOT fixed!
What happened?
Did it solve the problem
100%
I only have “4LO” flashing periodically, and never stores a code. No driving issues.
Mine is doing the exact same thing. Did you ever figure it out?
It hasn’t come on for over a week, so not a priority right now. I was gonna check the vent hose, and make sure it wasn’t cracked, at the very least.
Having the same issue on my 12 platinum. It still goes into 4wd mode but only hi mode.
I got the same issue with 2005 Toyota tundra :(
Ok this fixed the issue but my truck will not stay on
That is odd. Might have to hook the scanner and check everything out see is happening. Sounds like a relay or fuse.
Well it started runs ok but the lights are still on and flashing
Good video bro 🫡👍🏼
Why go to the trouble of making half a video?
I had the same lights on but my was a secondary air sensor valve that puts more cold air on the carburetor, 2012 tundra
So how did you fix that issue?
Carburator?
Toyota sensor plugs are probably one of the worst to unplug
They don’t want them to come unplugged. 😊
