- Today I visited the Tampke-Steubing cemetery located within a neighborhood in the NE side of San Antonio, Tx. I only came here to document the current state of the cemetery as well as share photos of the people buried here..

What a peaceful resting place with the birds chirping in the background! Thanks for showing us this!
Yes! Thank you for the continuing support!
I've lived here and was never told that was there. Thanks for respecting it
I visited this back before any of the development was done. I had it spotted on a Topo map.
You should do a video on Louis Keilmanm Tombstone which I believe is abandoned on the SE of San Antonio. The area was flooded out during the 1998 flood. Shortly after my uncle purchased the land at 3615 S. WW White next to the shady lady saloon. There’s a dirt road that takes you back to Salado Creek. We sold the property last year to home developers are currently building homes in the area. That is a creepy area but if you do a Google search on 3615 S. WW White Road a zoom in depict the side of the grave
That sounds like that would be a cool thing to check out. I looked up the address and saw where the tombstone is located, thanks for the tip!
I lived in steubing ranch in 2005 and didn't know that was there.
Always wondered how Steubing family owned so much of San Antonio
This is a part of my family of Tampke's on my grandfathers side. I have always wanted to visit the cemetery but have not been able to. I see it needs some cleaning. Do you have any idea who takes care of it? Thank You sooo much for sharing this!!
Hey there! I'm not sure who takes care of it, possibly close descendants of the Steubing/Tampke family or maybe the HOA of the subdivision this cemetery is located at.
Its my family too. I want to go visit it one day
@Lauria Nichols what was your grandfathers name? Wilhelm Ludwig August Tampke's daughter Amanda was my grandfather's grandma
Wilhelm Albert Tampke was my gg grandfather
@@laurianichols2436 that is amazing, we are far distant cousins. Small world
Except for the dog barking, this had lovely ASMR qualities to it, in addition to being a great SA video!
Thanks! Dogs always find a way to ruin my videos lol but the crunching of the leaves was a nice sound
Very interesting find. Thanks for the vid.
Thanks for watching. Means a lot!
