Selling an active NFO, is not in your clients interests because it has no track record, so there is always a risk. I am also against selling sectoral funds as well as sectoral nfo's. Because this is against the principal of diversification. So last but not the least, thus business will make you huge money, if you cater to your clients needs, but if you put your commission first, then you are mostly skipping funds which have high AUM due to which their commission is less but they have performed in the past,you have their track record to look into, thus giving you hope in the future as well and passing it onto your clients, but with nfo or high commission funds due to less AUM, the track record is less, so hope is less and passing on to less hope to your clients is unethical and will not retain your clients for longer term. The key role in this business is not to operate on the basis of higher commission but to retain clients for the longer term, which ensures your business AUM growth as well as AUM retention as well as trail commission growth and retention. But if the client leaves, you loose business itself. So my friend please put your clients interests first
