The first gen g35 sedan like this one is my favorite out of all of them, the new ones are not bad but they lack that cool character that the first gen has. I think the styling has aged very well and still looks modern, even with stock exhaust its got that nice grumble to it. With pretty close to even weight front to back these can make great all weather cars too, proper snow tires then you can drive a rwd car all season!
I agree, I own an 03 G35 Sedan Sports Package for almost 12 years and you're right, they do age like fine wine when you take care of them. Also, that character you get, especially as an early 2000s Japanese car, really shows, kind of like the American cars of the past (Its just my opinion). Too bad their rep has been destroyed by broke boys and takeover junkies.
From a long term owner (06 G35x) - bought it at 121,000km, now at 221,000km. 100,000km later all I did was flush and refill all fluids (trans, diffs) + new spark plugs and kept up on oil changes maintenance wise! Still pulls strong, great cars
One shop wants $568 to fix mine. A small, locally owned shop will replace the upper and lower oil pan plus the valve cover gaskets, which I've purchased, for only $300. Did you get any estimates?
Bought mine in 2019 for 3,700 with 200k and now has 301,000 no major replacements. Burns oil but I do my own oil changes in like 15 min for like 30 dollars every 3k to be safe

wrong oil consumption is not fixed with a valve cover gasket.. to fix it correctly you gotta replace piston rings
Nice review!👌🏾

I just purchased an 08 G35 and I love it
Good purchase I have a 07 myself I love it so much ! Enjoy yours 🤟🏼
You the same
@@joannolajiire4584how many miles are you at now
@@MANISG401yours too
Original transmission?
are these cars good on gas?
Depends, I have an ‘06 coupe in winter shorts trips (around town) I get about 13-15 mpg
55 mph flat road warmed up 29-31 mpg
Any G35 below 5k still running in a good bargain
With 5k you could get a g37 where I’m from new to not beat down
With title ^
Good review! How many more miles you expect it go for (without having to do any major repair)?
Thank you brother 👍 well honestly I can confidently say another 10,000 miles until a tuneup such as spark plugs!

You sure it’s a 04 it looks like a 03
Yeah 2004 and 2003 are the same almost identical!
I got both that’s why. And the differences are in the cluster
@@Ls1cutty 05 and 06 have the updated ring looking cluster and are known for not working properly on the gas gauge
I thought I'd seen 03's with the grab handle in the middle of the trunklid?
@@terrybo5924 my 07 coupe has that.
