The song is about hate comments of social media (real and nasty comments of the people shown on the video) and the ”whip” effect that they make on the artist. But at the same time ”The whip” makes Käärijä and Erika to try even harder and succeed in their career. The outfits are an armor against all the hate they have recieved. And they are standing on a battlefield. Käärijä has a blonde stripe in his hair and Erika has a black one in hers, that shows that both artists feel the same way and are in equal situation.
