  • In this video we put the Hansa C7 Chipper through its paces.
    This compact chipper certainly packs a punch and as I say in the video - it gets a FULLY CHARGED RATING FROM ME.
    I would like to say a very big THANK YOU to STEVE from Hansa Chippers for allowing us to have this unit for almost a week, so that we really could put it to the test.
    Also another very big shout out to Jono for Henton & Chattell for bringing the machines down for us and for all your help.

    Just bought one and I'm really impressed. Don't start it with anything in the chute with earmuffs on as the flywheel won't turn and by the time you realise the rubber belts may burn. But even that didn't upset my day. Awesome machine.

    Had mine over 10 years, used to get new blades, now I just sharpen them., also changed the oil and drive belts are a bit tricky, but overall best machine for a home with large grounds trees etc,, paid for itself easily over taking stuff to tip or buying mulch

    I was looking forward to this video. You, and the Hansa, didn’t disappoint. Very nice bit of kit. I like the portability of it. It can go in the back of a panel van. Ideal. 👍

    Thank you so much for this really honest review, it was very helpful to see the machine in action and also to see the blades and flywheel after a long day's work! I am in the process of deciding which chipper to get, and this one is very high on my list.

    In regards to removing the chute; its worth having a drill on standby to quickly remove the bolts when you expect sone blocking due to leafy stuff etc.

    Good video Andrew, looks like a good rival for the Timberwolf chipper. the access to the blades is nice and easy, if your boss gets one i'm sure you can put a wing nut on for quicker access.

      Gregs Mowing cheers chap, It really is an impressive bit of kit! As you can see from the video - we put some serious material through it.
      I think I will stick to the bolts - never know who might end up using the machine 👍🏻

    Good video,
    After doing some research including watching this clip we purchased a C7 last week, mulches small material very well but we had some 50-60mm branches and it just stalls we are waiting for a response from the supplier hopefully they can sort it out.

      never seen a video using 70mm branches

    • @phs84
      @phs84 3 года назад

      @@marinabugeja6401 maybe we just got unlucky with ours but it certainly won’t chip native Australian timber ( green ) over 60mm at 50+mm it gets through it but you can hear it struggles, should be rated at 50mm

    Great video, I've been tossing up between a drum twin blade or a fly wheel twin blade however this one looks like the answer, pay a bit more but and with very good reviews i thinks this is it. Does it clog up with small things and leaves ? Or does it push it thru? Should suit my needs though, the big stuff can keep for fire wood.
