My buddy bought one new in 1998, we switched sleds and he let me run it down a 18 mile lake. I love to go fast but that sled scared me a bit. It was so much faster than anything I had ever ridden before.

@@carnivoreguy its a nice sled, I may pick one up at some point, it sure put a smile on my face after I got used to riding his and it handled decent on the trails also. I was a die hard Polaris guy but that sled soaked up bumps much better than mine. I tried a Pantera 1000 but it wore me out on the trails unlike the T-cat.

@Real metal restorations Unless you ride sleds, you don't realize how well 200hp runs on a sled. I have my Turbo Alpha set at 7lbs boost and 240hp, geared to do 78mph. It runs soo good.

@@gumballer133 I have been out of sledding for over 10 years, been thinking about buying another sled but where I live lakes are few and far between. I thought about getting a used apex but those older triples..... I know I would be better off with a 600 twin for the trails but those triples just have it all, fuel mileage is good on trails, you have the power when you need it and nothing beats the sound of a triple piped triple with triple carbs.
