What you guys have done for mma podcasting is next level. Like Luke said,” Don’t lose the fire.” When I’m financially stable enough I’ll buy a watch. For now drop more sweaters, it’s cold in Ny.
What i love about this podcast is you see alot of legends in the game that you wouldnt hear from in major mma outlets like espn. It kinda sucks having some of your favorite fighters for years growing up just kinda disappear after retiring
It’s wild that you guys consistently have high quality guests on the podcast. Randy is a living legend and he’s a wealth of MMA knowledge and history. Had no clue that Rampage and Randy were on bad terms for a while but I’m glad they fixed it. It’s always better late than never, you only have one life!
Rampage has been a great character in combat sports and super funny but I dig the fact he is reflective and takes responsibility for his part in past events. Telling Randy that he, Rampage, was being a baby and wishes he would have come spoke to Randy is one of the qualities that makes Rampage so likeable, Randy too.
The quintessential definition of a fighter's fighter, an absolute living legend. Thanks for the podcast as always team Jaxon and for having Randy on the show. One of my favourite fighters of all time. 🙂❤️🙏
I was 25, former collegiate baseball player, bored to death of the mlb, when i was invited to a duffys sports bar, late 2006 to view ufc 65... holy cow, it was love at first sight! Gsp vs hughes, sylvia vs monson... i couldnt consume enough mma!!! When couture came back to fight sylvia??? Wow... goosebumps watching that live... and rampage? You temporarily broke our hearts when u knocked out chuck in 2007, but we fell in love with you as well in short order! Mma not the same as when you both reigned supreme in your primes...
UFC and DANA WHITE might try to erase this legend. But he remains in our hearts and minds, forever. Thank you, Randy Couture. You have truly been and inspiration and someone to look up to for many of us here. Captain American, Baby! RANDY!! RANDY!!! RANDY!!
I drew a charcoal picture of Randy after his 3rd Vitor fight. Took it to the Rose Garden where his Sport Fight promotion was holding a show, June 2005. I just graduated high school. Took it in to the arena before the fights and he was gracious enough to sign it and shake my hand 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 that hand was Massive!!
@ oh yeah that’s mma , guys who fought it out often end up training together after, or even before, good times!! Team Quest was a bad ass piece of MMA History!!! Don’t let Dana tell you otherwise
i’m glad he got to come on here and share his side of many stories, it’s crazy how the UFC tried erasing this man but he will never be erased from all the real fans, thank you Randy.
Even if Randy pissed them off, he deserves his place in the UFC's history. He was a star and made them money. Just watch the fight against Tim Silvia, the people went nuts.
@ I did for sure. I loved Randy getting honest about his history with Dana, and the background on Affliction. I’ve seen you guys while flipping through shorts, but now I’m watching full episodes. Of course I’ve been a fan of Rampage since pride. You and him have a great report.
I never watched Rogan until he spun off the MMA interviews. The first one i watched was Big John, and i was hooked. Rampage bringing on the legends of the sport takes me back. Keep up the great work guys, fans are very appreciaoing of all this.
Greatest MMA podcast there is, minus Bear never shutting the fuck up acting like a teenager. But, aside from that, Randy made it out with his brain, seems sharp. That makes me happy.
I actually still have that Xtreme Couture Rampage shirt ..with the chains and two wolves, in my closet. I used to look pretty jacked in it, but put it on a few years ago and it swallowed me up.... Been using it as motivation though, to be able to fill it out again ..one day 🤘
Absolutely loved this podcast! Watched all of randy’s fights live back in the day and he was always a great respectful fighter and was equally great to see his true character on a podcast. Top guy! 🙌🏻💙
This episode has a much better balance between the teasing friendship of bear rampage and guest and actual productive questions and engaging answers. 💯📈
@@jaxxonpodcast one of the best ones yet for sure and it definitely seems like the other commenters agree. the podcasts are only getting better and I know we all appreciate how you engage with the comments and are humble enough to take our suggestions and opinions on board.
Randy the natural couture! Looks grwat for his age. Another big victory people forget was when randy beat gonzaga, that was after gonzaga had just flatlined crocop and people thought Randy was going to get annihilated. These old school fighters took risks guys like jones never would dare
I love these podcasts with the legends. These are the guys that were at the top of the game when i because a fan. Randy couture, class act and respectable human.
Bear, I know you’re not financially motivated in regard to this podcast. However, I’d love to purchase a tee shirt or some merch other than jewelry. I think there are many others who would do the same. Thanks for all the work and excellent content.
This episode was great. I loved the first two Expendable movies and I am glad he had great things to say about his experience with it. Plus all of the MMA career stories as well. Job well done.
@jaxxonpodcast Not long enough ! Great work, as always, guys. Hands down the BEST MMA podcast out there. Having watched from the start its good to see Bear and Ramapage settle into their presenting roles. The PPV breakdowns are also a must viewing. Bear, you are big enough now to split your channel and have a dedicated fight breakdown channel. Youre welcome ! 🙏
These 2 hours flew by. Always great to catch up with Randy. One of my original favourites from the early days, and was lucky to see him compete at UFC 105 in London. Keep the great podcasts coming. And like the other comment - will get more merch when I have a bit more expendable cash!
My favorite fighter of all time. Real life rocky balboa. Always an underdog, and always busted the odds to win... even at 47. Captain America. Much love from Utah. ✌️
I met randy when 151 got canceled, got a picture with him at the fight shop I believe (been along time ago) while shaking his hand you can’t help but notice how big his hands are

Randy is the proof not only that you can be both hard nosed and humble but that the two traits go together well.
truly a samurai in a garden
The second I finish watching the episode with Frank mir ..this pops out..made my day.
Same
What i love about this podcast is you see alot of legends in the game that you wouldnt hear from in major mma outlets like espn. It kinda sucks having some of your favorite fighters for years growing up just kinda disappear after retiring
Because they don’t have the best relationships with the ufc so Dana white just pretends they don’t exist sadly
Now Ngannou is the one getting shit on these days smh

I usually roll my eyes when I hear the most requested guest....but I believe it this time.
I started smiling and shaking my head😁
Everyone is the most requested of all time but this is the only podcast I watch start to finish
Here to say i love the joke
Personally find it insulting to all the guests at this point because it’s like a joke that they aren’t aware of.
@@rockybalboa3150Yes, its disingenuous
The quality of guests on this podcast is mind boggling. Thanx!!

I love seeing and hearing from legends like Randy Couture! Big respect! 💪💪
By far one of the best episodes yet! The Natural!
I'll never forget Randy standing and trading with Vitor Belfort back in the day. For a wrestler to out box a striker was truly incredible.
Great interview! Randy Couture is such a respectful, humble, and intelligent man. Very enjoyable to watch.
Who's more shadow banned from UFC, Couture or Mark Hunt?
Francis 😂
Ngannou but back in the day definitely Couture, with White it was personal
Hunt by far. But couture is number two. And it's because he refused to sell his soul for pennies
Tito more so than both of them lol
Frank Shamrock
Incredible interesting content gents with some good humour and the professionalism of Randy just outstanding 👍
Randy's fight IQ is underestimated a lot.
Randy Couture.... SIMPLY THE BEST OF THE BEST!!
Iykyk. Rampage, Randy and Chuck were the greatest fighters of the greatest era.
When Bear said the "most requested guest of all time", I might actually believe him this time 😂
Anyone else notice rampage said “Gordon Ramsey” instead of Gordon Ryan at 6:20? 😂😂
Even if Randy pissed them off, he deserves his place in the UFC's history. He was a star and made them money. Just watch the fight against Tim Silvia, the people went nuts.
This has became my favorite podcast recently especially when I have nothing else to watch at work, you guys are the best 🙌
HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE RANDY...WARRIOR.
Derrick Lewis next
Most requested guest surely
Finally, the real GOAT. I would love to see Daniel Cormier next.

Iceman vs Randy was one of the big fights about to happen when I just started getting into MMA as a kid
That Liddelll Couture poster was powerful. Wish id gotten hold of it. Epic
"Soft spoken, but legitimately intimidating at the same time" GREAT way to describe Randy 😂
Randy is so real for that mention of fighter pay. That's why you never see the UFC talk about him even tho he's one of their biggest legends
This is the best mma podcast fosho!
I always see you guys advertising the chains and watches, I love the Jaxxon shirts! Are they available too?

Its a shame Randys legacy has been almost completely erased and/or ignored by the UFC… a true legend of the sport
