great video! This is definitely my type of humour (glad to know I'm not the only one who likes bad jokes) and I love English, so the combination of both, and learning new idioms, was great ! I also like the setting and the sound effects haha + you explained the jokes really well !

Hello. Great video! I speak Spanish and have for most of my life (My mother is Cuban, and my wife is Mexican, but I grew up in the US). However, the reason I don't consider myself fluent in Spanish is because I have trouble with many of the jokes for the reasons you mentioned (idioms, slang, colloquialisms, etc). I am going to teach ESL here in the US to Spanish speakers. Jokes are definitely something I will use so thank you for that idea. I am also going to use songs because that is also a fun way to teach.
I also have noticed that phonetically the RP English that you speak is easier for Spanish speakers, especially the pronunciations. One example is words that end in -er. When I was trying to teach my wife English using a word like "greater" her mouth could not make the "err" sound. But in RP it is "GrAY-tah" which she can say. She actually learned a lot of English from a woman she worked for who was from India and did not know how to speak Spanish but spoke RP English.
That is why I subscribed to your channel, I would like to teach both RP and American English (which has many, many accents as you know - I consider the English spoken by American hillbillies almost a different language :). My accent is fairly neutral with a slight midwestern twang.
I really like the way you teach. You use humor (or humour - haha) but you get to the heart of the subject. Best of luck! I will end with a joke:
Why is England the wettest country? Because the queen reigned there for decades (may she rest in peace).
