@@DefensiveLimestone this is a very niche game, HLL is more tailored to casual gamers that's why they can market it massively, and majority of the market are casual gamers who wants to run and gun. This game is not casual gamer friendly, this game have a very difficult learning curve and will consume hours of your day. Spending money to mass market this is a waste of finance. I am a marketing grad, doing SEO and AI marketing for this game will be challenging, and the ROI will be questionable, if you market this game massively. Targeting history buff people who likes to play milsim games is a difficult profile to target. I promise you it's very very difficult to figure out how to effectively market this game with a promising ROI.

Every somewhat functional product has its market, you just have to find the right target group and then use the right marketing approach. As a niche product PS obviously would be marketed quite differently than HLL. Persicope games just totally misses that potential.
@@epstone that's the problem, profiling the right target group is somewhat a challenge. A target group who likes MilSim, likes WW2, history buffs, that would deal with a game with a difficult learning curve is a population very difficult to pin point. I looked up the stats, and it's blurry.

@@Tutel0093 all maps are updated so all vihicules dont get stuck as much. Rockets now bounce a lot and just shooting rockets whitout aiming at the correct component of the tanks Is inefective. Bla-bla Life has a gameplay video from AT infantry perspective in a beta test, there you can see how much dificult Is now to damage tanks even whit "infinite ammo". Limiting ammo is one solution to fix suicide AT infantry, but Is not the only one
@@DriegoGB Reading the comments on Bla-Bla's video... looks like Devs changed rockets to make them a little more effective on light armor. Bla-Bla showed that you could bounce a Panzerschreck off of a helmet. So the video I watched was 13 days old or so. Might be a newer one.
Well I mean when game tries to be as realistic as possible, AT guns and small AT guns are your worst enemy as a tanker, so it was back in the 40's. Can't imagine how many tanks got knocked out with Panzerschrecks and Fausts and satchel charges etc.

@@rowennjohnmartinez5108 Unsurprisingly when you don’t interact or support your community for a year and a half it will start to die, This is seen in all game communities which aren’t supported by their devs, Battlefield 5, Minecraft, R6 and world of tanks are just a few examples to look at of how playerbases will go elsewhere if their game isn’t up kept. The player count is now currently at a rock bottom low of around 300-400 players depending on weekends and time zones, On reddit, on RUclips and even on steam it’s a general consensus that the game and its community isnt in a good place right now due to the devs unsupporting it, and now they expect an armored rework to magically fix everything, You can keep adamantly defending the devs and their poor actions as much as you like, that won’t change the fact that the player base is poor right now and people aren’t that happy.

What's the difference here ? Once the AO drops, will it be then impossible to play on all the old maps? Or will the AO only be "active" on future maps?
Wow this is really awesome. Really like that they added manual gears too. Adds way more depth to the gameplay. Already thought of a sneaky tactic to kill infantry when out of regular HE. Make a shell bounce of a tank to kill the inf who is walking in front of it.
All 300 players that are left will certainly be happy about the update, but if the game is not properly advertised soon, there will never be more players.

PS maintains the bar for best armoured gameplay for small squads, now we see their few shortcomings being adressed they raise the standard higher. Amazing job to the dev team this is clearly a labour of love.
This seems to solve one of my largest gripes with the game, might even consider buying it. It was so hilarious seeing these Pz IV's and Shermans taking 12 direct hits and just doing fine lmao
There is nothing inherently wrong with a tank "taking 12 direct hits," it depends on the weapon it is taking fire from, whether the part of the tank being hit is well armored or would realistically be penetrated, etc.

I mean i get the passion , but the biggest issue was that it took 9.5 months before they cared enough to keep the community notified about any news. It's the community managers job to keep the community news section up to date and he failed in that regard very heavily so people just moved on when it got repetetive & boring. Also small patches & QOL , how hard can it be to fix minor issues? You know how many people would be so happy to see small fixes being pushed out just to see that the devs care , the whole damn community. But you know staying silent , patching nothing and putting all your efforts on a huge patch without keeping the community somewhat notified good enough to know when it would have released , killed off a huge amount off the active playerbase to a point only the hardcore fans still are left roaming around.
I love playing War thunder and the damage models is basically exactly what they use in the game. None of this World of tanks HP bullshit. You kill the crew or hit the ammo rack and the tank is destroyed.
Excellent Update. Engine compartment damage moddeling is very well made. I just think that especially for heavy guns, the internal damage to crew needs to be increased a tad. Any tank crew should be forced to exit the vehicle after a single penetrating hit of the fighting compartment. It will motivate players to keep their distance to enemy tanks and rely on precise gunnery rather than rapid fire.
Looks decent, but I'd love to see them polish the spalling and post-pen damage with rounds. Just noticing that the AP round fired by the Sherman doesn't really have much shrapnel at all, but during the tests done by the Brits, it was found that AP shells were just as effective, if not more effective than APHE shells due to a lack of mechanical parts, while also maintaining the same (if not greater) penetration potential. Don't forget that the shell crushes and turns into its own shrapnel when it penetrates, causing that cone to be much scarier than it appears to be in the simulation. However, I do have to give credit to the devs for making a system where the initial hit to the armor can scatter sparks and shrapnel outside the tank. I think that's pretty unique to Post Scriptum because I haven't saw this simulated anywhere else.
It should be stated that most of the allies aphe was horrible in the damage department. Games like war thunder drastically increases the damage aphe does. (Though it should be stated German and Japanese shells aphe was generally better) hence why the Germans kept with aphe. Also the whole it works a lot better against fortifications than pure he or pure ap.
I hope tank only servers will be up again. Those were really fun. I remember RO2 also had tank only battles and they were awesome, even though the system was much simpler.
Keep in mind that the M62 shell from the 76mm gun had better penetration against German armor because A., German tanks used FHA steel armor and B., the M62 shell was capped.

Most fragments will end up on the sides and a few in the front, with very little fragments behind the impact. Soft ground also reduces the effectiveness of HE shells by letting them sink into the ground before detonating. I wonder if that's going to be implemented 🤔

Hll currently has more content, better marketing, more players and is receiving more updates, I liked PS, but waiting like 18 months for an armor rework that at most will revive the dead armored mode while hll is looking into flamethrowers really puts me off

Post is better than HLL in almost every way except for map fidelity. The HLL maps are nice. But thats it. Sadly PS community is tiny now because the devs have ignored what the game needs for well over a year... instead they do things like this new armour system.

every moments I die in this game are too cinematic and realistic so I never had upset about it. visual and sound effects are so beautiful

This game is too hardcore for 99% of players thats why theres so few. And yeah Squad has alot more players but is easier to get into
If PS is harder to get into than Squad it's because the game sucks at informing new players on what to do, because PS is less complicated than Squad.

apparently the Maginot Line map has been completed for months, they just haven't released it yet :(

And they couldn't push any bug fixes and content while developing the ao, because if they push no more tanks until the release of the ao

Best WW2 game out there, it's such a shame that so few seem to know about it. I feel sorry for the guys playing HLL or enlisted without knowing this game exists
Hll currently has more content, better marketing, more players and is receiving more updates,
I liked PS, but waiting like 18 months for an armor rework that at most will revive the dead armored mode while hll is looking into flamethrowers really puts me off
@@suityboi2126 it’s true it has more marketing and more devs for updates but doesn’t change the fact it’s gameplay and immersiveness (if that is a word) is vastly inferior to PS

I am a Console player and my only tactical Game i play ist Hell let loose but this looks so much cooler i hope this Update will raise the Player count for this Game
Post is better than HLL in almost every way except for map fidelity. The HLL maps are nice. But thats it.
Sadly PS community is tiny now because the devs have ignored what the game needs for well over a year... instead they do things like this new armour system.

Dude the Hll Devs are working on flame throwers, a decision that was announced at complete random and was inspired by a community suggestion,
Meanwhile the ps player base has gone like 18 months without anything and has only been drip fed 1 maginot map
