  • In this video we will be taking a look at how you can recover from a season of no research and some generall tips and tricks on how to handle such a scenario.
    Keep in mind research will be your best bet to gaining expertise so I wouldn't really recommend doing a full season of no research at all.

    So basically, except for the big regularion changes of 2026, you can survive without researc

      I would be wary of the cornering regulation change but for the others it would probably be doable yes.

      @@NeroBax atleast cornering related only affect 4 parts, so you atleast have 2 op pieces left

    I want to come back to this video as I think going design only seems a viable strategy, especially for low-tier teams.
    Following some of your content, I started a hard career with Alfa and added my own challenge by hiring Mick Schumacher.
    As the first season progressed I did land Bottas fairly regularly in the points with Schumacher getting a few as well.
    From the third ATR phase I put everything into research in an attempt to outshine the AI and be competitive next season.
    I have to say, that did not work out at all. I had two research projects on every part, for some even three.
    Yet, my car was dead last in the new season despite not even being the slowest in the first one.
    The follow-up question would be, on what exactly does research add experience gain?
    Is there some sort of basis and every team has a different percentage on top of that at the start of the game?
    Or is the basis itself already different?
    And how exactly do the multipliers from staff and facilities impact the research?
    I think especially for low-tier teams research is a waste of resources but I have no data other than my Alfa save to prove that :)

    I’m really struggling with the pit crew, I dunno how to even everything out, I managed to get my pit stop time down to 2.9 seconds but all my other stats are mudded
    Jacks 16
    Used tires off 23
    New tires on 25
    Wheel gun 29
    Car release 11
    Car building 47
    When I try to focus on them stats my pit stop time gets worse and almost every race it costs me points as they keep having mistakes, my longest fit stop was 10 seconds

      @zattanna74 6 месяцев назад +2

      ahh trick on this is that you have to balance them out during the month when you have 3 races in a month you need to ensure you dont lose any stats or pitstop time try keep everything at 0 losses when you have 2 races a month split between pitstop time and gym training i tend to do both on the same days half each and over the month your looking at getting good reduction of around 0.3 and about 3/4 stat increase if your on balance, remember you can focus on area each month also to get a instant boost

    • @riquelmeone
      @riquelmeone 3 месяца назад

      for pit stop drill, just keep it balanced unless there is a major gap you want to correct.
      Also, training is more efficient when the crew is well rested. make sure to not train them into exhaustion.
      And after each race check if their development plan is still good to go because the crew might gain additional fatigue from race weekend incidents.

    How do you know all these details about the game for example the range of the expertise percentage?
    Is there a tooltip that explains all this?

    I don't fully understand research but say you did do it, wouldn't the car be worse off anyway?

    • @NeroBax
      @NeroBax  6 месяцев назад +3

      The car would be better off with research, as an example before the sliders were fixed, Alfa Romeo and Alpha Tauri cars in season 2 were both better than this one. The main reason is due to expertise being slower the higher your expertise goes and for research any loss of expertise has already happened when regulations get decided. As a result you get quicker gains of expertise when you research the stats you are losing and will have a better car for next year.
      For this video I was curious if it was possible to still be competitive without research, and the answer to that is yes, but would the car be better with research? Yes, with research it would be even better.

    A side question: if you finish the season with some abundant amount of money, then when it comes to off-season, the game will ask you to wither you want to change team: do you keep that money you earned at the end the season when you change a new team? Or, if you decide to stay with the same team ( back once you are in the selecting new team window, you cannot go backwards), does your pre-season money a reset with what you had at the end of the season?😂😢

    • @misterx344
      @misterx344 6 месяцев назад +3

      Keeping the money when changing team would obviously make no sense at all, and if you stay so does your money

    • @RolfeeeMusic
      @RolfeeeMusic 6 месяцев назад +3

      Your money is team specific, so keep that in mind

    • @NeroBax
      @NeroBax  6 месяцев назад +2

      It is not your money it is the teams money so it will stay with the team you leave, your new team might even have a negative balance so it will not carry over or reset or anything like that.

    Good job you didnt get the same tech changes I just got. 50% off every piece of every part.....except Chassis.....which is 70% off.

    • @NeroBax
      @NeroBax  6 месяцев назад +1

      You get hit with the 50%-70% loss in the 26 season. Meaning for 25 you are going to have to research to correct it, this will always happen as it matches the next big regulation change for F1 in reality.

      @@NeroBax Yeah. Inended up benefiting massively from it....and it was followed by a 30% decrease accross the board the following season.
      Has put me in a position where I am practically a second a lap faster with only 1 design per part. I can also put on maximum durability and save lots of cash over the season.
      I'm probably going to have to switch teams or not design/research for a season just to make it interesting again
