Wow. Didn’t think I could really tell about any of the adjustments, sitting in my house on an iphone, but the finally before/after was impressive. It’s like you moved the mic closure to your mouth. The first was a distant sound, the after much “closer” and clearer. Thanks!

I always watch videos all the way through and I always tap the like button. I want Creators that I follow to be successful and I know those two tasks help out. Question: Sometimes I forget to hit the like button so I open the video back up and hit it but generally don't watch it through a second time. How does this affect the algorithm? Does a like count against you if you don't watch the video again or are they two separate measurements. I want to do the right thing for you.

@@DavidManningvlog well the last few months I pulled the trigger and bought the ZV1, I was originally shooting on my Osmo action when I first got started. Running Rode wireless go system paired up with a lavelier go. I've been slowly upgrading my gear as I go and trying to learn how to properly dial it in, essentially I've been doing what you've been teaching us on your channel slowly but surely it's really working. The tutorial with your export settings to RUclips is what made a huge difference, I'm still tweaking lightning and continuing to learn how to properly use that ZV1 and trying to squeeze a video while I run my shop. Hiya David. You have given me some great homework here, I have wondered about my audio, but being so new to editing - there is so much to get overwhelmed by, but I think this will be my next thing to figure out. Finally managed to get me some external microphone! I am still playing with it, to see what I can get out of it.
Your style of teaching, so easy to understand, I am off now to see if I can find this stuff (or similar) in my editing software.
Sometimes lessons take a lot of time for me to remember where to find the thing, I am glad you created this video, I am sure I'll return to it to make sure i know and remind myself what you said.
Small question - Got any suggestions on headphones? - as mine seem rather bass heavy - although i like them they dont seem to give me a true and accurate idea of what the sound is actually like in my videos when i am editing

This then shows the effects and bins area of the track mixer. Default premier layout this is not shown.
