The two chains that you will end up choosing from are half link chains and full link chains. While on the surface, there isn't much difference. You'd be surprised what the real differences are. Have you ever snapped your chain and smacked your knee on the stem? This isn't very fun
Half Link Chain
A half link chain is generally a lot stronger and a lot more expensive. I run the Shadow Interlock V2 and have never had an issue. There is less "dead space" between the linking parts on the chain. Which gives the overall construction more strength.
Full link chain
These are cheap and easy to take on and off if you use the master link system. I do not really see a benefit here but maybe someone does. These chains come in tons of different options, including hollow pins, machined links and so on. I used to break cheap full links every 3 months.
Haha, i thought about this last night. If i ever get a gold coated BMX chain i want to do that. 💯
I got a cinima half link and a shadow Supreme and haven't had a problem with either
Same, Cinema's are actually really good chains. I have a Cult one as well, that one has always been stiff no matter what I try.

They make full links for e bikes and not half links so maybe they are not weak. Half links look cool, probably better if you have 8t driver.

Check out any Kink bike! They will be much better quality and help you progress faster since they have good geometry
How many links do you need for a 16/44 vintage bmx setup? Is 1 half link chain long enough or do you need two?

How the hell do you get that pin back into the half link when you stupidly accidentally push it all the way out!?🤦🏼♂️
So this is damn near impossible. One way is to hammer it back in but it is pretty hard to get it lined up. Hold the pin on the hole with needle nose pliers and give it a few good whacks. hopefully this helps!

What brand do you recommend to buy on half link?
I ride the shadow interlock chain. I ride the V2 not the supreme because the supreme is too expensive haha
