    I tell people this and they don't believe me! I wish the media would put it in the news more. There was so much fear put into people in the past and that's hard to undo. I've been undetectable for over 15 years so I know there's no chance of me ever accidently infecting someone and that's awesome! Keep doing what you've been doing by educating people Raif. I think you should get a job in healthcare as an educator or something, you'd be the best cuz you are the best!

    • @RaifDerrazi

    Thanks for fighting the good fight, Raif. I've pretty much given up on the gay community though, so many guys don't want to be educated about this. In my experience, the hook-up culture has totally taken over, not to mention alcoholism & substance abuse. If anything else is undetectable, it's LOVE.

    Isn’t there an important caveat that as long as you continue to take the medication. I didn’t hear you mention that. If you have hiv and take your medicine and become undetectable but then stop your viral load can build up and you CAN transmit HIV.

    • @Jordanlalata89
      @Jordanlalata89 6 лет назад +5

      If you are HIV +, you must take ART everyday for the rest of your life. In one of his videos, he said that the medication he takes gives him no side effects so I suppose it doesn't affect his body fitness whatsoever. But the more research and advancement in medicine, I'm sure ART will lead to once a week, once a month, once every 6 months, etc.

      Not a dumb question ; ) Unfortunately total eradication is not possible, otherwise that would be the cure! The virus is sneaky and likes to hide in the body, so although we can destroy almost all of it, there will be some remaining and if a person stops taking their medication then the virus will begin to replicate and spread throughout the body once more
