Yes Bring it back! My Granddaddy had a Impala in the 60's now I have a 2020 it's Chevys Best!
Yes! Bring it back! I have the 2014 LTZ with 110k miles no issues. I love it! I'm ready for a second impala.
Most definitely will buy waiting and anticipating the return of the 2025 Impala ss
Yes bring it back I will purchase one 😊
Performance sedans! Love them hope the US automakers bring them back. They are missed. SUVs are just boring.
I feel the same way. However I am starting to think they will never come back. Too many people are buying SUVs these days which killed the sedan market. Then you add the EV push the performance sedan era is dead.
Bring back real engines with real gears, no put puts with turbos yeah might buy! Owned 2 impalas and liked them both !!
Chevy never be the same
I have always been a big fan of Chevy cars especially those super powerful ones. and it pains me how GM has destroyed those beautiful and powerful cars. is a terrible shame.
Not did they do that to Chevy they destroyed Pontiac, Saturn and SAAB which had really nice cars. Sometimes I wonder why is GM still around they only offer a couple of stupid trucks and SUVS.
Well said.. Turned our Beast cars to kittens smh
Looks like a camaro four door...so whats new?
That's all it is, Mike. Same with the 2025 Malibu or 1970 style Chevelle based on the Camaro that will not be produced either. OH! and that Buick 2-door coupe floating around here also. GM is strictly in survival mode. That means the same old thing. But the concept's are fun to watch as fantasy.
Love the SS...had a 63 SS Impala black, buckets, floor shift with white knob...sport wheels....a real car. Then a 74 Nova SS 350, buckets, floor shift and real sport wheels with wide stripes from the front hood to the back. great car......Bring them on.
I still have my 2017. 100K and never had a problem. I might consider trading it in for this though.
Don't hold your breath😂🎉!
Best Shevy ever I love it 😍 I want one thank you ☺️
I would love to see the 2025 impala ss in the future
C'mon GM DO IT!!
Good car if come back is going to be a lovely one model on the street
If the Impala come to life, I will buy it 0:15
I dont remember an SS in 2014-2020. 2006-09 with the 5.3V8 and the 2004-05 SS with a supercharged Buick 3.8. Those gigantic 22" wheels, fake air dams and basically looking looking like a 4 door camaro, eh, looks extremely 2020s. Probably would start at $60,000....or be electric
Chevy could even use the TT V6 from Cadillac CT4/5 for the SS!!
Your renderings bring hope and inspiration to a new generation of the iconic Chevrolet Impala SS. Unfortunately, CEO Mary Bara & upper management seem to have lost their way in the automotive landscape. She’s beating the farm on EVs when no one wants or buys them. And then you wonder why the Asian car manufacturers have eaten GMs lunch….a once proud USA
corporation doesn’t have any gasoline in its veins anymore…,
Bringing back the Impala after being discontinued, is like bringing back the Indian motorcycle, now made by Polaris. Basically a rank obscenity.
Hey general motors, how about you build a rear-wheel drive two-door V8 Impala or don't build it at all
if you noticed the new Malibu it has been stretched to the same length as the Impala would have been a nice car but with only a 1.5 turbo forget it
Gov motors give it up.
If the Impala, and that is a BIG IF! Comes back on the market as a car and not some sort of SUV, It would probably be as a platform mate of the Buick Electra or Wild Cat.
This will be the new nascar
Why wear a mask when this video is virtual? It makes it hard to hear you distinctly. I wonder if this is so much hype. Many would love to see a real Impala and currently own the previous generation models. Thumbs up to the idea of a new breed of Impalas.
He is not speaking in English. His lips would not match the computer voice.
GM Authority said they are not making it because they do not have the platform for it
Leana Lovings
If GM is going to turn out just ONE automobile that isn't an SUV, I would rather it be Buick Wildcat concept car.
Gm. Do. The. Do. You. Have. Fans. We. Would. Love. That. One
Chevrolet needs a performance vehicle to replace the Camaro in NASCAR. The newly designed 2025 Impala SS would do just fine for us Bow Tie fans. Been a Chevy fan all of my adult life. Not many cars are still made by automobile manufactures. Yes, a performance sedan would the perfect replacement for the Camaro in NASCAR.
If Chevy puts a weak p.o.s. three cylinder engine or an electric motor in it they will forever cease to exist in my life. Make book on it. Ill just rememder how great they once were (owned three SS’s) and go get another Mazda.
Most anticipated by who?
All minivan KARENS
The 2020 was a dog. I had wrecked my Volvo S60. They only had an impala at rental that speaks volumes. I w e not three blocks and returned. It was a boat with no power no handling no visibility and I did not feel safe driving it. No wonder sales dropped to nothing. They rushed into full EV after a great Hybrid Volt and thats dying. The the EL Camino rendering. Then the Corvette Blazer now a camaro-esk Impala They need to understand the market and what folks will pay for. At a minimum they need to match the Volvo T8 AWD Hybrid in every model line. 2 wheel gas. 2 wheel EV and every combination from 0% 100% and 100% - 0% and in-between with Gas and brake regen. 455 HP total, 0 60 4 seconds. Combined 70 mpg. 40 miles min pure EV. Plus safety features and reliability design.
Now scale that package into three tiers with every model that has the SS on top. Base, RS, SS. 1, 2, 3 now market that as the Chevg bred and other upgrades in the warranty do they never go out if date. New battery design offer retrofit upgrades keep them current.
Now takes these levels and help aftermarket team with dealers to retrofit 2 wheel drive ICE vehicles to AWD Hybrids with certification. Extended warranty and future upgrades as the new releases get them. That might save you into 2030. But you have no time to waste.
Since Chevrolet is making no cars anymore, give the concept drawings to the Chinese. They'll build it...
Hope they don’t use that grill
I don't love it. It still reminds me of the Chevy Lumina, not the bloodline of the Impala.
Chevy turned that car into an American import. It looks more Japanese than American.
Impala needs to get back to its roots if it's to make a successful comeback.
I'm not saying it needs to have a bulging hood and pointy tail fins on the rear quarter panels.
But Impala was a full sized sports car with a V8 engine that just happened to also be a family sedan. It was a car fit for a man to be a dad and still have fun in.
It had certain things that defined its heritage. The lines, the grill, the stance, the triple tail lights!
Chevrolet dropped all of that and said, "How can we make this car look like all the other ones out there?" And that's what they gave us.
Dodge didn't dominate the market just because they were building the most powerful engines the world had ever seen in regular production cars. No! It was because the Challenger LOOKED like a Challenger! The Charger LOOKED like the Charger!
Dodge got it right! It was the right balance of modernization, innovation, power, and American style!
Chevy missed the boat, and now they're trying their best to sink that little dingy they're on! They don't have anything worth looking at or wanting on the market! I wish they would stop trying to build American versions of Japanese cars and go back to being just American!
Instead of trying to redefine its heritage, Chevy needs to find it again.
Only if it has a 1.0 liter two cylinder engine. Of course im kidding but knowing Chevy theyd do it. Hey chevy and all car companies, enough with the tiny turbo engines.
Chevy is not going to bring back cars in their line up especially the Impala.
God no. But they have these deceiving videos on a few different cars (like the '70 Chevelle) based off of the Camaro that don't/won't exist. Besides, they'd be over $60k. Forget it.
@@bobpierce115 I have seen those other videos you mentioned as well. I leaves me wondering what is the point of making videos that give false information?
G.M. needs to put some go power, back into their cars, nice looking bones, but, without the go juice, it loses appeal. Letting the government dictate policy, will not put American cars in the garage. Put muscle, and design back into the car, and G.M. will put dollars in the Bank. When the government, along with China, etc., take over the American car companies, what's left? How about nothing but fond memories, called the good old days!
If Chevy don't build I won't be a Chevy man anymore. I'll go to Ford.
of course bring it back cars today suck
2 door or I'm going to Dodge
The only coupe Chevy's interested in keeping Greg, is the Corvette, whose future is dicey at best.
@@bobpierce115 I hate the new Vette. No thanks .
Dude, whats with the mask??
Whats up with the mask? makes your video, sketchy....
It could be a random guy giving a lecture on growing tomatoes.
Be stupid and buy...live at the Service Dept when breakdowns & recalls.
I'm not to endorse a pod cast when the host wears a face mask HELLO? MASK MANDATES ARE WOKE!!
It’s looks good but can you afford it at the rate there going we,ll be driving golf carts
Impala- 3 tail lights on each side. Circular or square . Not these tail lights. I don't like this car it's a Camaro and gm is going to make the Camaro an SUV gm sucks. Dodge is moving correctly Ford forget it
Noone wants it because it costs too much.
The 25/ 2026 cars will have govt trackers built in. Don't buy one.
What's tor "que" . Just say TORK, that's how it's pronounced. It's English, not whatever you want, that sounds more like Spanish. Goddam, colonials! Lol
He's wearing a mask because this video isn't real smh
Of course! More crap Chevrolet build quality!
Nothing special for me
A specialty money loser for GM. I doubt it will be made.
Looks like hundreds of other " cookie cutter" sedans. Is it a Honda, Lexus, Toyota, Mazda, Accura , the new Chevy just blends right in . Nothing special looks wise.
Yawn!! To little to late. Give it up GM.
I had 2 96s and 1 95 impala ss… the real impala and the rarest… these cars today suck.. period Chevy getting soft.. front wheel drive impala smh is the worst car in history…. RWD or don’t make it Chevy for these people who can’t drive!!!!
The styling sucks. Nothing modern or unique about it. Disappointing, uninspired and ugly. Start over with a blank sheet of paper.
Impalas Suck
General motor: have become wishy-washy. they don't have it anymore. the other auto manufacturers are building very powerful cars. in the meantime GM are building cars that are weak and slow. they have turned all the muscle cars into nothing. so GM start building strong powerful cars again. earn the respect that you once had.
