oil is oil. castrol, LM, shell, valvoline… all very proven brands with a reputation behind them. just down to personal preference and price. 5w-30 because 0w-20 is just way too thin for a car pushing more than stock power. also i live in texas where conditions get pretty hot. every 5-6k miles.

almost 20k miles within 6 months and at 95k miles right now and it runs and PULLS like a champ. coming from a 500hp 2009 135i… this is the most practical and affordable b58 car in my opinion

had plenty of c-clamps but i just figured to get it done with the tool since i was already fed up 😭😂😂😂

Why not suck the oil from the top since the filter is on top as well.
i don’t have a siphon. so i just do it the traditional way 🤷🏻♂️
