Just picked up my G01 2024. Coming from a 23 M240i with Vargas GC turbo and supporting mods and sutphon custom trans tune. Loved that car so so much but life happens. Following your build for ideas :)

Nice looking X3 you have there! I just bought a 2024 X3 M40i and love it so far..surprisingly quick! I just hit 1k miles so no maintenance yet however my wireless charging pad has not worked since I got it...trying to figure it out on my own but probably need to have it looked at. Not a big deal since the plug in charger works fine but still...brand new car!!

transfer case is fine. it’s the trans and driveshaft will need to be upgraded tho in the future

if you’re purely going for speed, x3m. if you want highway efficiency, power, comfort (less rigidity/harshness chassis than x3m) then get m40i

Great video Alex, off topic but where do you jack up your car from? Trying to do the same on my G20 as well
On the G01 (pretty sure on most modern bmw’s)…. there’s a little half circle indent on the plastic undertray. that’s where you jack up the front. on the rear. it’s okay to jack up from the diff. just make sure to have wood or rubber protecting it from metal on metal contact with the jack.
Does this mess with the adaptive suspension system at all - or does that all still work fine?
You’ll have to buy the adaptive suspension delete module by KW . i didn’t have adaptive suspension

oil is oil. castrol, LM, shell, valvoline… all very proven brands with a reputation behind them. just down to personal preference and price. 5w-30 because 0w-20 is just way too thin for a car pushing more than stock power. also i live in texas where conditions get pretty hot. every 5-6k miles.
Your running it without a boost controller ? How does that even work? I mean ik you gotta disable the EWG and all
i have a mac solenoid w reflex+ now. but even with no boost controller just disable ewg and runs off spring

yes the version one kit has only 1 hose to the pcv cap.. i have that one and it works great!
V1 is 1 hose from pcv and 1 hose from crankcase ventilation. V2 is 2 hoses from pcv and 1 hose from crankcase ventilation. not sure what you mean by “second hose”
What made you go with a vent to atmosphere instead of a catch can system?
I must be missing something. I went to the website and can only find the kit with the catch can

Not sure if I missed it but how much did the setup run your for the turbo. Roughly how much for install ik hes your friend but im hoping to do the same path but dont know about price. 2021 x3 m40 im working with
4500 shipped for the set up. labor is probably gonna be around 800-1500 depending who and where you take it to. and i’m pretty sure 2021 needs femto unlock unless you already have it done and plan on staying on the same tuning platform
