    I was thinking i should make a community council post up that in my view, Illuminated sigils might be a dead talent without sigil of spite. 2 Firebrands that happen to spread that make them take 40% increased fire damage. The other node needs a little more power to be taken seriously than 2 Sigil's of Flame.

      Yeah I agree, would feel a lot better with double offensive sigils on that talent!

    The nerf may not change much or even touch the current god-comp meta in WW.
    Spriest damage is still massive AoE while providing tons of priority damage, plus the extra health.
    Mages still exist as a class but warlocks might come in.
    Druid will still be wanted for mark, 3% more damage plus 1.5% less damage taken is still the best buff in the game.
    Aug still provides tons of stops, buffs damage and survivability and most importantly has a spell which doubles your movement CDs.
    Which brings us to DH. Remember season 1 of Shadowlands? Massive kite meta, shadowmeld, plus the additional magic damage from chaos brand?
    I am probably wrong but DH still remains stupidly strong. So without changes to the other classes making up the “god comp” that removes or changes their damage profiles and utility I don’t see a lot of movement.

    I think having a niche for each hero tree can be positive. if both trees are well implemented it could add variety of play within the same class. there could be some downside with learning curve and the feeling of forced choices, but there isn't a way to please everyone.

      Nerfing a spec is fine and necessary, but killing the gameplay/ fun is dumb as fuck. Id rather have Blizzard buff/tweak other tanks to be as fun as vdh instead of killing the fun for players.
      Buff fix what isnt fun, dont kill was is fun. Basic game designer goal :/

      @@guillaumelabonte2702 VDH still has more stops than any other tank, I am sorry that for it to be fun it must be like a god in game. To make all tanks up to that level would destroy gameplay and make M+ and raid design a nightmare for future dungeons and raids. Sometimes you need to think a bit further than your own enjoyment and realize what the overall consequences are for the game as a whole not just one player or spec.

      Raid issue? Is this a joke xd, VDH is dogshit in raid compared to brew and blood.
      Sometimes you need to think a little further than your own preconceptions.

      As a pugging dps i will miss the days where vdh pulls every pack together with chains tbh. As a dps playing with a vdh was a lot of fun

    So they nuked double sigils but gave bdk multiple aoe stops instead. Wild.

      If you're talking about adding a silence to mass grip, that talent is extremely bad and will not be picked in its current state unless there's a raid fight that needs a mass grip every 1.5mins so you can line it up.

    Illuminated sigils is garbage now. It needs to at least double Elysian Decree. Down in flames is just so much better.

      Exactly. The way he termed it would make people think that it affected decree but the notes say only flame which is basically incredibly bad.

    Vengeance back in the ground for 2 years if they dont fix the sigils back or better tweak them. Ruining a spec i actually liked quite a lot.
    Why not just remove the aoe fear sigil instead, thats a nerf without killing the spec.

      I think the whole sigil gameplay with as many utility sigils as they had was probably a bit much (7 total stops on a single spec that you could heavily CDR is way too many), but that being said you could 100% preserve the offensive sigil gameplay with a couple of the tweaks I mentioned in the video (double sigil of spite, unnerf cycle of binding). I too have been enjoying VDH on live, but when playing a spec feels like cheating you know its gone too far, and I'm not convinced just removing fear sigils is an actual solution to the problem seeing as double silence sigil is a massive chunk of the strength at the moment, allowing you to pull way more spam caster mobs than you could previously.

      @@Tactyks remove fear sigils, reduce the duration of the silence to 4 seconds, maybe 3. Id be fine with that. But no way what they did is decent in term of fun in my opinion. It's really ruining my fun

      @@Tactyks the range loss, pulling mobs with sigils, the ability to pack packs quickly and easy, after that idc the silence. The lost of aoe from 4p and shards.
      I tried yesterday to do keys with only using 1 sigil, it felt bad really cause you can't pack properly anymore neither in every pull.
      The kyrian sigil burst damage.

      @@guillaumelabonte2702 Yeah the 4p/haste loss going into TWW are definitely the biggest hitters for me, potentially Fel-Scarred is enough to make that a bit better but you're definitely gonna feel the loss regardless. That being said I think if they just give back a 2nd charge of kyrian sigil that potentially helps with a lot of the other issues you have, as you'll still have the burst and you'll still have 2 charges of sigil of flame (plus additional CDR on it and resets from Fel-Scarred) that you can freely use to pull packs. Would definitely recommend still giving it a try, again especially with Fel-Scarred as that really helps out.

    Sad, you didn't call out how horrendus vengence is on beta. The season 3 "rework" of the spec is a complete L. The whole change was about sigils. Now it is lost. Aldrachi on VDH is unplayable on beta with a 30 souls requirement. For 30 souls you need to press around 10 fractures an elysian decree which noone will be playing, since the eyebeam talent is better, and 2 sigil of flames and some immo auras (based on proc). On the best case scenario it can be activated one every minute + the hunt activation which is horrendus. Also does not give any gameplay element besides passive shit. But i guess you are VDH hater as well, "cuz double sigils are so bad for the game", what so bad about enabling dps to do actually damage and not to stop mob casts. If the mobs in the dungeons wouldn't have been overdesigned, noone would care about other tank's cc ablities. But i guess you also like that kind of gameplay, when a shadow priest in the middle of voidform runs into melee to press phsycic scream or a mage blins in to press dragon roar. Overall L video

      Current affixes on beta you mean? I think instead of bringing tanks to a better balance they simply took a dump on VDH which isnt a solution and killed the fun for many players.

      @@zachariahfarris8981 Honestly it's too early to tell, VDH could even still be on top. Will have to wait until the tuning phase is done (both on specs and on the dungeons themselves), so probably sometime around early August I'll be out a video with my thoughts.
