@@dan200tf6 Wfc comes before foc, he was forced from his gun form into the Robot mode, then he fell out of orbit, then prime knocked him off the spot they were in.
Part B's "ship" mode kind of looks like a massive drill. Drill mode, perhaps? It would make sense, since Trypticon used to be an energon harvest station / lab.
Trypticon also appears in Fall of Cybertron as the Decepticon ship Nemesis, hence the "combined" ship mode. Upon Megatron liberating Trypticon from Autobot capture, Metroplex gave some energon to fuel the Ark.
Metroplex sacrificed himself to power the Ark, to be exact And Trypticon aka Nemesis is also in TFP, almost came back to life when Megatron tried to fill the ship up with Dark Energon

@Science edu Maybe it didn't had enough Dark Energon for that, and based on Megatron's speech on FoC, Nemesis is supposed to be Trypticon's punishment for failing to kill Optimus on WfC, so I doubt that he would allow it to transform back even if that was a possibility.
I consider this toy to be one of the best Planet X toys ever made. It's posable, huge, fun (Yet dangerous) to handle and very game accurate! My biggest issue is the fact that its city mode is very underwhelming

Okay, if you're watching this now, there's a way to do the chest spin so it has clearance. You need to keep the shoulders untabbed until after you flip that chest part with the head. Tabbing the shoulders in restricts how far the actual chestplate can move, which limits the clearance.
emgo, if you flip the head before you put the shoulder in the upper tab it is easier to do. so remove shoulder from bottom tabs, while untabed you get more clearance to fliphead. then moves sholder up and tab in
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Trypticon in his Nemesis warship form. I just thought it would be longer. I generally wish it had longer body and shorter "spikes" at the front, to better resemble Nemesis warship from TFP. Then again, it had this design in the game, and the toy is made to resemble the design from the game, so it is understandable.
One thing that I'm curious about is was the though process behind this toy's creation. While it's very cool, when you look at the Nemesis mode, you can see that there are notable differences between it and the game model...I wonder if they created the toy with the Trypticon game model from War for Cybertron, with the intention of turning it into something that will try to look like the FOC Nemesis as much as possible...or if it was the other way around- that they had the Nemesis game model in my mind, and they tried to create a toy version of Trypticon from it. Or, if it was a completey different thought process. Anyway, it's one cool figure, and I'm really happy that it got made!😊
@Jeebus23 he is confirmed to be the nemesis in prime . In one episode his silhouette can be seen on screen for a brief moment. Google transformers prime trypticon and you'll see an image of him on a red screen.

When I turned his head around when u first started to transform into his base mode. The top of the Dyno head looked like the face of a robot! With the yellow stripe being on his forehead.

All I knew about Trypticon/Nemesis, I got from BEAST WARS (great show, lousy '90s CGI (but that was its charm)): it brought down the Ark, on which the Bots & Cons got stuck til 1984, Tarantulus got it working again, buuuuuut the Maximals thwarted him.
If you look at the in-game nemesis and official artwork you can see that this figure looks very different than them. For example there is supposed to be a top fin in the back.

it JUST hit me. the prupose of citybots is to propogate autobot cities through out the universe, 1 world at a time, so they spend most of their time dormant as a city. trypticons job is to destroy cities. so they made him godzilla. because who is better at destroying cities than godzilla? this is awesome.
