Thanks for the review. I agree I have both the Aeropex and these opencomm. I love the way it feels and yes earbuds after long use makes my ear itch and then I like have situational awareness around me. Being retired Federal Law Enforcement I am used to using Bone Conduction communications and this works best for me especially as you mentioned now working from home all day. I used to use the Aeropex and my new job so I can hear other people and because I work in a confidential locked room its good for hearing people knock on the door or just talking to people who as me quick questions. I just wish they would charge via USB C so we can always charge even if we lose the included charger. Thanks again and stay safe, I am a COVID survivor. I’ve used in-ear pieces on walkie-talkies while working large events (>300,00 people & music) & feel like I may be able to hear what is being said better with bone conduction. I agree that a USB-c or other universal charger would be nice! It would definitely reduce my anxiety. So happy to hear you survived COVID! Hey there. You can order more cables from aftershokz. Also, if you block your ears while listening to music with these, the sound will greatly improve. The bass will come through, and they will sound full and rich.

They sound greats & even better if you chose to plug your ears . The calls on both have been crystal clear . I cant hype these enough .

GREAT review!!! I am leaving Canada and moving to Mexico, therefore my job has now become remote lol. I was wondering what I would use for a headset!! Over the ear ones are not a good choice because they often make my ears hot and uncomfortable, in-ear ones work for a while, but after about 3-4hrs I've had enough. I just got my new opencomm set a few days ago and I'm loving it. I only got one charger also, but I you can buy an extra charger on amazon for about $15. I had the Aeropex prior to this new set... and the reason I order it is because I spend most of the day taking calls from two phones; customers /family & friends. I love the fact that this set can connect to 2 devices simultaneously. Battery life is great, I can go two days without charging it. Like everone is saying, you basically forget that they are there. The price I think is very fair. I tried the new bose open air version and it was $200. They were not confortable at all, I couldn keep them on for more than an hour, the sound was tiny, they don't support multi point, stay connected to 2 devices at the same time. I got my opencomm with a $20 discount, so it was $139. I can't complain.

@@TRC_941 Your're welcome. Enabling multipoint can be a little tricky, I didn't get instructions when I got my second unit but I called customer service and they gladly guided me to enable it.

Hi Juma, yes, clicks on the +button will turn the volume up. If you do a medium press, it will tell you the battery status. Long press will turn off the headset. Hope this helps!!
Press + and - simultaneously for 3 seconds, then EQ status is activated. After that, you can only press + for raising the volume and press - for decreasing the volume. While listening to a music/video, pause/stop playing and then press + to raise the volume.
About the bar behind the back of your head,I would say that I have a normal size head as well and there is that space so it's not meant for leaning back and putting your head on a headrest and laying down with a pillow. But I think it's better than having something tight against your hair.
I agree it should have been adjustable to different sizes ,also there should have been tow charges or came with a normal charger easily available in the market other then that it’s great

its a very bad product, I have it since 3 month now and its totally not as advertised! it makes horrible headache after 30 min as it connects directly to ear bones and the call quality is very bad, my norml apple mic is much better. don't even try to buy it.

I do have a couple of questions so I can better understand your comment. - How is the product "totally not as advertised!"? I am not an expert by any means, but in my research I did come across people who found the vibrations used in bone conduction to be anywhere from annoying to causing headaches. One resolution is to turn down the volume but if that does not work, bone conduction may not be right for you. As for the microphone, I have found that if I forget to flip the mic down towards my mouth, people cannot hear me but once it is flipped it is very clear. Again - sorry for your experience - have you tried contacting the @AfterShokz customer support at hello@aftershokz.com ?
@@darciebaumann1213 I got this headphones only because the Mic has a noise cancellation as I use it for my Zoom calls and I don't want my surrounding noise to be noticed but after comparing it with my 3 years old headphones from plantronics voyager-5200, Aftershooks mic noise cancellation falls way behind even though it should be build using a new technology! I didn't actually contact aftershokz cos shipping the headphone back to the US will cost a lot.

I had 2 pairs of open comm, intermittent problems with call quality. Really made customers angry.

I heard that the opencomm can only connect to one device at a time. You got them to connect to 2 at the same time?

The 16 hour battery is more like 20 hours

Is it compatible with MS Teams? Can you mute the headset wihtout muting PC or Phone? Can be used while charging?

I Have Charging Cables In Different Rooms In My House And A Charging Cable In My Car . Albeit For My OpenRun Pro 12 to 14 hours on a single charge .
So sad news for me--- Just placed an order thru Amazon and was hoping for 2 Charger Cables...

I have not had any issue with dropped connection on my windows laptop. I've used it for calls on MS Teams, Zoom, and GoToMeeting. Hope this helps.
