How To Change A Smoke Alarm Battery

When was the last time you changed your smoke detector battery? With so many types and brands of smoke detectors, we get a lot of questions about how to change the battery of a certain model of smoke detector. This video makes it easy for anyone to replace their smoke detector battery no matter the model leaving you with no excuse - LOL!

Thanks so much for the info. The alarm flat battery noise came out during the night and you saved us. Mine is the 2nd type but got to remove the screw first to slide off.

Geez i was stressin but I’ll sleep extra well tnite thanx to yur vid! My smoke detector is like the older twist one but has the battery in a drawer that Yu pull out from the side. I replaced the battery and the green light was on! Cheers Phil👍ps Nice voice man!
