Than you for all the information on TNBC! I was diagnosed in July 2020 and I just hit the 3 year mark. I am 69 years young, and still holding my breath of the C returning. I had immunotherapy and chemo and keytruda and also zometa . I wish everyone Good Luck and God Bless! Looking for others like me for support. Thank you

Good luck and congratulations for achieving your 3 years since diagnosis. I was diagnosed last year. I have completed the chemo and immunotherapy regime but, I am still awaiting surgery. How long was your surgery from your end of the chemo/immuno treatments? Did you have to receive radiation therapy? Like you I am also looking to converse with others. I am extremely depressed and hopeless and scared all at once and not sure where my life is heading after this diagnosis. Well God bless and keep you in good stead.

@@Aasha271 hi love, had the surgery on the 8th of February. It went well although more painful than I was lead to believe. Post op care with the compression wrap around chest very painful and uncomfortable. Had to lie on my back for 5 days since the surgery recovery went over the weekend. Narcotic pain meds are a joke here in America I am not sure they are the real thing!!! Stick with IBU if you can works great and helps you sleep. XRT will start in about 5 weeks I am told and immunotherapy with start later this month. Lots of love to you lots of strength to you. Please keep in touch it was so great to speak with someone who I know will understand these ups and downs. God bless.

@@Aasha271 hi Aasha sorry for late response. I have had my surgery and am now receiving XRT and immunotherapy. I have 30 radiation treatments and 12 months of immunotherapy to complete. I don’t believe I will be doing any reconstructive surgeries as I am already aged 55 and would very much like to get this beyond me. How are you? As always God bless and keep you.

Be your own best advocate. Learn and educate yourself so you can participate in your care well informed. In March 2019 I was dx stage 2A ... was 53 years old. I did all the chemo, I have no genetic contributions to my cancer, did bilateral mastectomy, 30 radiation treatment, and 8 cycles of Xeloda because only about 1/2 of my tumor was like. They weren't doing immunotherapy at that time but I had no node involvement at all. All my margins were big so that was great. I just started my 4th cancer anniversary and thank God I'm still healthy.

Faith over fear. Being Born again Natalie saved my life but my eternal life. Diagnosed December 2022 with triple negative stage three grade 3TBNC. And I’m cancer free now. My relationship with Jesus as my savior my trust in God and his plan for me in my life. Not allowing the fear or anxieties of any kind to enter my heart. When you have the love of Jesus in your. heart there is no room for fear or anxiety, but only perfect love and peace that only Jesus Christ as your savior can bring into your life. A Christian Bible church is the best place to be among others that can pray for you and for yourself to grow in your relationship with Jesus, and to know how God wants us to live on this earth. Which is to keep her eyes fixed on Jesus, and to follow Jesus. You’ll never regret it. God bless.

I am from Canada & received a diagnosis of TNBC a few days ago.
I have a lot of questions & still waiting to see the oncologists.
      Keep researching & educating yourself.
Going in prepared with a lot of info is a good start.
I had no idea of this subtype.
Scary but hope you get the care you need.
