Excellent video. One of the best RC aircraft demo videos I have ever seen. Skilled, smooth flying. Great camera work. This video is as good as any that the manufacturers post on their sites and better than most of them. Horizon should put a link to this on their page for this model. This is how they should be filmed.
Nice video. I can't wait to see mine fly. There was a miscommunication that caused mine to wreck. Between my thumb and brain is where it was. This beauty deserves a glorious flight.
great video production and great flying .I appreciate the detailed look at this e flite 1.2M corsair I purchased this plane about one month ago and really love it . the power on the power on the 1.2m warbirds from e flite has been a hot topic and some pilots say it needs more power IT FLYS VERY SCALE AND ANY MORE POWER WOULD JUST BE OVERKILL. IF YOU LIKE THE SCALE LOOKS THEN MAYBE IT WILL LOOK SCALE IN THE AIR AS WELL IF IT WAS FLYING AT SCALE SPEEFD awesome plane !!!
thanks flite, well I think deano showed everyone what she can do on a standard set up ! if you want more than that youll have to upgrade to a 4 cell if you want it to reno race - pete,
+TripleThreatRC where have those thumbs been to get them wet gandy ? it made sense for him to plug it with his flying skills - would be packing case foam if i tried that shit lmfao !
+tbobborap1 The thumbs got wet from a wet spot! Where do you think they got wet? Here is a thought for the day: " If your car could travel at the speed of light, would your headlights work?"
+TripleThreatRC in other words you stuck them up your b-m ! not sure on that one so i will digress with my friend and her Majesty1s loyal subject sir stephen hawkin as hes got some half arse ideas about black holes and the like ! all i do know is that "IN SPACE NO ONE HEARS YOUR SCREAMS"
Hi ...Allways amazing Corsair on the air... Congratulations, great video, thanks for sharing with us ... when will we have the next video / challenge? Come on ... Let's go forward ...
Digital Wolf FPV. Retract speed should be easily adjustable. I set mine to 2 seconds. I will be remaidening my bird soon.

Hi, great flight, thank you and I wait for your next video!!! I love to flight our warbird E-Flite F4u-4 Corsair! It's again in the air after a tremendous crash some weeks ago... I flight near of Kwanza River, Angola! Let's go forward! Regards...
keep us updated on future upgrades and mods , its probly the best Corsair foamy to date but it does have its draw backs , and its is a tricky one if it tip stalls , speed is your friend on this airframe and of course you can see the pilot knows that.
hi ya. tip stalling us not an issue with this model. must have had 30+ flights so far and not stalled her once ! not on landing or in the air as you say just like any model keep a little speed up and youll be fine - pete.

I have one of these and love it but does anyone know the top speed on it with the stock prop? I display with a larger 13.5 inch for scale but fly with the stock so I do not burn up the motor.
Another excellent flight there Deano! I have the original PZ version and it's actually one of my favorite fliers! I added the flap servos and retracts but really like the paint scheme on this one! Fighting getting this one and the new Spitfire coming out soon! Great camerawork and video as always Pete! Thumbs up! Cheers mates!
This plane needs , much , much , more power . I had a 3S = 45C ( good condition ), and it flew like a cow , nothing that a WarBird should have . Was youre C/G as per instructions ? Nice video
Very nice. I like It. I'm waiting for the new E-flite 18550 F4U-4 Corsair to be available to buy. However someone has advised against it because it is critical in landing and tends to capsize. Does your experience say anything? Greetings from Italy
Did you have an issues binding to your receiver? I'm trying my best and the issue I'm having is channel D I use for flaps put this also has gear I try to change it in assign channels but I just cannot figure it out for some reason
tbobborap1 Survived. Rough takeoff. Heavy workload flight. Lots of Up and Right trim. Wouldn’t fly off. Hauled it up and trimmed for 2 laps. Gear wouldn’t actuate. Flew with gear down. Programming loss. On landing hit Full flaps by accident right before touchdown. Ballooned and rolled at us and my SUV. Caught it in time. Rolled left and down. Power was off. Flew right over my head! I was seated. Saved it! Landed hard on mains but no damage on prop or wings. I’m partially Disabled and fly right handed only. Workload!
Great bird, great pilot, and great camera work! Deano, I just got this bird. Any early thoughts on model setup? Did you make any tweaks to the quick start hi/low rates in the manual? Cheers, Frank
+Frank Bobo thanks frank, no tweeks no hi rates just 30% expo all round and manuals throws on surfaces, she flies great and we are gonna try a 4 cell soon to transform her ! - deano,
Ive been flying a highwing, taildragger nitro trainer for over a year now with not to much problem, ive bben looking at these corsairs. How prone to tip stalling are they?
+AJ16v hi aj, they are pussy cats to fly, we haven't en counted a stall yet (only in a stall test) because unless you slow them up below walking speed on landing (then they will stall) they land very well ! dont use flaps to land in a strong head wind (you wont need them) as you may well stall her then, but anything below a breeze then use the flaps for landing, we havent en counted a high wing stall yet (fly fast and pull hard on the elevator) she just pulls a really tight loop, most stalls on landing are probably pilot error (slowing the model way too much) due to hanging on the elevator, just keep the speed up (a jogging pace) and flare at the landing and should be fine - hope this helps - regards pete,
Nice plane, nice flying and nice movie. Thanks for putting this together. I saw in one of the comments that you consider the gear to be OK for taking off and landing on cut grass. Did you ever encounter a situation where it would tip forward and "kiss" the ground with the nose?
Deano that is one sweet looking plane love the flaps! I have been looking at the 1.2 Meter war planes do you think the retracts would hold up to a very rough field? Oh and I agree with Bob HH should use this foe product video! Cheers Gary
+Plowboy H thanks gary, the retracts seem quite strong but weve only been flying here off cut grass, id imagine a rough field will knock them about like any other model of that size and weight !
+Charles Coby thanks charles, im using the dx 18 stealth but you can use any spektrum transmiter apart from the dx5 as you will need six channels, hope this helps - deano,
One day I will use that arresting hook. Get my kids to draw a chalk aircraft carrier and put a string between two bricks. Maybe when I have more channels it can be on a servo.
I love that this warbird is one of the very few, if not the only Marines version.
Thats the great thing about this Corsair. You can fly it very slowly, it does not Stall.

It looks so more better then the old one although i think the retracts are to fast (not only these but all the Eflite retracts) great flying!

Great flying and great camera work! Sweet aircraft, I'm lusting for one, but my skills aren't there yet.

Bonjour j aime vraiment vos vidéos ... j ai une question svp concernant vos réglages approximatif ... Dual Rate et Expo ???? Merci d'avance .....
Nice flying Deano, those magnetic trees sure look close, too close for me anyway ! Jez
+Jeremy Saunders thanks jez, just perspective view i guess - deano

have got the same one too. i love this little warbird .
Great flight!!! Do you have the intermittent gear issue? Where only one landing gear comes out and the other doesn’t …intermittently?
thanks jay, i dont remember that ever happening - was a long time ago
Can the motor on this run on a 4 cell without burning out?

Did you ever fly it on 4 S? What do you think about leaving the motor and just replacing the ESC for that 4S?

great model with no issues at all, just watch the video ! if that doesent tell you what its like then nothing will,

sorry to hear that - no idea why its doing that im afraid, we had no issues with ours !
Great flying this bird!
Hope to Maiden mine this evening. So Hot! 90F Heat Index at 4 pm. 😓
Good luck!

What should I expect on the maiden flight takeoff and where are your trims set at once in the air?
What would be a good first warbird? I've had plenty of experience with 4ch UMX models and I want to move on to parkflyers.
Do you think its possible to hand launch this model?
yes if you get a helper to throw it for you
Any tips for maiden flight?

thanks, so far she hasnt nosed over, you can see in the video how long the grass is with small pot holes dotted around and she didnt tip over at all,
+tbobborap1 thanks man!
I'll try again, where where your trims at before takeoff and once in the air? The second takeoff looked better with less roll.
are you serious ? its a foam model just fly it ! - pete,

yes brad - after this video we popped a 4 cell in her and never had any issues with her - transformed her performance !

You Monster! That pour corsair needs a damnly good RADIAL engine! Not such a trashy e-engine 😫😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
3s?
yes (you could hear it beep 3 on the video) brad, but put a 4 cell in and shes ballistic !
@@tbobborap1 do you have to upgrade the esc?
