Did stats for this game on Fox and for some reason I vividly remembered Siragusa looking for the camera at 58:00. I didn't remember it until he passed, but it just jumped back into my brain so vividly being in the truck, watching the game, keeping track of unique running stats and then Goose made the whole truck laugh because it was such a silly mistake but he played it off in a funny way. hahaha RIP Goose.
you prolly dont give a shit but if you're stoned like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all of the new movies and series on instaflixxer. Have been watching with my brother these days xD
I have nothing but the upmost confidence in big ben coming back in the 21 22 season ... Because right now the Steelers had no one else to step up and fill his shoes.... Go pitt!!!
Wonder why Seattle is playing in Pittsburgh again after playing there in 2007. Usually they rotate home/road so a team only appears in the other conferences stadiums once every 8 years.
I knew that the tiebreaker was why they had to go to Denver for the WC game. Their defense was great that year and they really should have won at least one of those Ravens games. But what if’s mean nothing in sports.
Going into week 15, Pittsburgh played on Monday night in San Francisco, and Baltimore was down in San Diego on Sunday afternoon. The Ravens lost, Giving Pittsburgh a 1/2 game lead in first place. Pittsburgh lost to the 49ers with an injured Big Ben, who should've sat out due to ankle injury sustained against Cleveland 11 days earlier and started Batch. Tomlin clearly screwed that up, and he admitted later. Both teams won their remaining 2 games, giving the Ravens the Division title.
Something happened with the 2011 schedule that the Seahawks where supposed to host the Steelers due to in the 2007 season they visited the Steelers too.
Probably a scheduling error. Possibly another event was scheduled in the Seahawks home stadium that could not be changed. The same thing for the Arizona Cardinals. Pittsburgh played Glendale in 2007 and in 2011
Someone wrote an article about how unusually bad the Seahawks played in this game. The stat lines seem normal at first-- zero points, only reached midfield once, and every drive either resulted in a punt, failed 4th down, or the half ending. The unusual part is the fact that they played that badly with ZERO turnovers. Usually when a team is this bad there are a few fumbles/INTs involved.
I remember watching live and at 46:28 I thought it was Season over. I for sure thought Ben was done on that hit. After getting beat 35-7 the week before, I said this season is done.

A lot of weird circumstances heading into this week compared to this game, Steelers and Seahawks meeting in the second game of the season, the home opener, the Steelers coming off a big loss on the road, Kenny Albert is calling this game this weekend, maybe a good sign of things to come for Pittsburgh? Maybe???

He was a hilarious dude in Oakland. A very unique personality. Definitely is missed.
Go Pit! And R.I.P Tavaris Jackson.

Bill Leavy also officiated Super Bowl XL between these two teams
Can you do Steelers-Cardinals from this same season?
Can you find a New York Jets Vs Arizona Cardinals game from 2008? It was a classic

Tarvais Jackson....LOL. It's hard to believe that just a few short years ago the Seahawks had a QB not named Russell Wilson.
Russell Wilson would be drafted by Seattle the following draft in 2012
REST IN PEACE TAVARIS JACKSON
I miss mike Wallace. That man was a beast. He was the first jersey I ever bought. I was so sad when he went to Miami. 😂
I’m still stunned this Steelers team failed to win the North that year.
Ravens swept them

Steelers had a nice receiving corps back then.. Mike Wallace, Emmanuel Sanders, Antonio Brown, and the vet Hines Ward.
Why does everyone think Sanders is so good? He was trash with the Steelers.
Yeah i remember this time too because all i was hearing was how good this kid Antonio Brown was gonna be and i was like who is AB...
Touchdowns:
19:15 PIT: Mendenhall 1-yd rush
31:10 PIT: Redman 20-yd rush
1:14:50 PIT: Wallace 2-yd rec from Roethlisberger
Key Stats:
PIT:
Ben Roethlisberger 22/30 pass, 298 pass yds, 1 TD, 5 car, 8 rush yds
Mike Wallace 8 rec, 126 yds, 1 TD

the hosting cycle went ABBA, not ABAB. so Seattle would host in 2003 and 2015, and Pittsburgh hosted 2007 and 2011.
They flipped the NFC West pairings after 2008 when the east coast teams bitched about having to come out west 4 times.
@@TigerWoodsLibido AFC West pairings too
Cool catch 😎

Hell yeah
Also, was this AB's rookie year?
No the year before was. He played in the sb
I think he came in in 2009 or 2010
No

Show some 2011 Bears games
That team knew how to run a Tampa 2 defense! Its a damn shame how the season unraveled
