  • Andrew Tate is known for his misogynistic social media posts and videos claiming to be helping young men acquire lots of money, drive luxury cars, and pick up hot women. Tate is fighting a legal battle in Romania right now, but should parents worry about his influence on their sons? Before Tate was detained, Dr. Phil spoke with Richard Reeves, senior fellow at the Brookings Institute and author of “Of Boys and Men: Why the Modern Male is Struggling, Why it Matters, and What to Do about It”; Marilyn York, a men’s rights attorney; Imran Ahmed, CEO and founder of the Center for Countering Digital Hate; and blogger and author Rollo Tomassi. Plus, hear from a group of teenage boys who surprise their mothers when they share what they think about Tate. And, Robin joins the conversation. (21318RR)

The sad part is the mothers are doing their sons a disservice by co-signing these feminist talking points. It’s been proven over and over again that women desire strong men that don’t subscribe to this thinking.

    1. That being said “needed” isn’t a marker of what constitutes a relationship for a man.
    2. That his definition of a man is to provide and protect.
If the people in his life didn’t need protection and to be provided for his definition of a man would completely dissolve. He is in complete agreement with Rollo.

Andrew Tate is an arrogant jerk, but most of what he says about heterosexual gender relations is true (unfortunately). Bad boys who are dangerous and break the rules get the women. Why is that? Because like it or not, those are the men that modern women choose. On a logical level women desire a good man who will treat them right, but when they try dating one, they get bored and dump him to go back to the exciting bad boys. That's life. Sadly, the boys featured in this episode will be ill prepared for that eventuality.

It’s not “bad boy vs. nice guy” like it was in grade school. Deep down it’s “exciting confident leader vs meek passive loser”. The fact is women like men who take charge and make things happen, which to docile guys looks like someone who’s a jerky control-freak.

    • @gordongekko2781
      @gordongekko2781 9 месяцев назад

@@winser21 It's sweet that you want to believe that, but in reality a nice guy who is successful is still a turnoff to women. They want the bad boy who ignores the rules even if he can't hold down a job. It's true that they don't want him because he's a jerk. They want him because he is exciting and unpredictable -- being a jerk is just a byproduct. Modern women couldn't care less about a man's character which is how our nation will fall in the next couple of generations. Watch and see for yourself. Young men aren't going to college or going into the trades. They are dropping out of society because their female peers are ignoring them. Society depends on men to build, maintain, and protect our infrastructure and assets. But, men will stop doing it if there's nothing in it for them anymore. That's basic economics. And, we're already seeing the early stages of a generation of rejected young men. (I'm in my 40's so I'm not referring to myself. I just see our downfall on the horizon and have to call it out. Like it or not, it traces back to female nature.)

Dr. Phil cannot relate to Rollo's viewpoint because he has not experienced it. His wife is living life at the top of the food chain and has no reason to leave. Seems to me that she also has dropped some money on remaining young looking so her husband doesn't stray towards younger women. He can act like he has a June and Ward Cleaver marriage but I bet the boat has just about flipped over a few times also. You cannot talk about the trenches unless you have been in them.

You could range from a CEO of a non-chain pet store that barely makes 6 figures to a CEO of a leading shipping international business that makes billions. There is no agorithym to dictate our individual belief system. Let us all be more aligned to come together for unity…it doesn’t mean we have to always agree but we need to be open and respect each other equally to grow and make this world even better. I have always believed we as humans have the right to make everyone feel equal…male/female…black/white…rich/poor. I love his reference to High Jackman! He is one of our iconic Australian men, we all respect and admire for his respectful and longevity in a chaotic and industry . He too is extremely close to his mum and deters any aggression or negativity toward women . This young man, if he lives by his ideologies will one day be a significant sensitised man x

@@snakegriffin4928It’s still a men’s world…men are in control, at the top, …but only a very few of them,….by design. This is how we got in this mess. This is a power struggle, between, the shadowy satanic, GlοωβαrhLu$T oligarchy, …and everyone else they discreetly rule over via deception .

I think these men belong in 1950; at what point did they say they wanted a "partner" in the true sense of the word; women want to "partner" with someone of similar intellect, social alliance and family values. The idea of a "buffed up" misogynist would leave the majority of today's women cold. It's not a woman's role to make her partner feel "more", it's up to him to explore why he feels "less".

Dr. Phil, I really do think you need to send this looney to a neurological clinic (somewhere remote ) and have this Man sectioned ! He’s a menace! I wonder how many women he has said I don’t need you but I want you ?! Pray for those women. They’ve probably got ptsd after having any unsolicited contact with this man . Should get his DNA! Unsolved crimes on women in that cold case file somewhere . Total sorry excuse for a Male really. 😢

Your hypocrisy is clear. You are triggered because he told the truth. You most likely even told your self you don't need a man. Facts over feelings.

Typical of you to immediately resolve your gender of all blame and project it all onto another party. You are simply angry because the uncomfortable truth was spoken.
In today's society we are supposed to pretend that the truth doesn't exist and to instead keep living with ridiculous social platitudes. You are the type of women to signal about how you "want a man that opens up about his problems to you" and when he does, if you disagree or don't understand, you'll either belittle him, brush him off, or you'll call him the most evil man to ever exist.
The jig is up, and that's why so many women are upset. Their games and strategies won't work anymore, and they're lashing out over it.

It's a fact that women used to be more dependent on men than they are today. He points out that this has ramifications for all the men who were raised to be protectors and providers, and your response is to lock him up. That's crazy. Maybe you're the one who needs to be evaluated.

Women and men have beautiful differences. I would hate to be with a masculine woman. As a man I am highly attracted to feminine characteristics. The inequalities are the bests parts of each gender.
